Who agrees 2nd base may be the easiest position, or most forgiving position to play? U can make errors all day but still close enough to make the play in time.
The Italy team coaches are like those teachers pets or perfectionists, had to make sure that all the plays were legal, which they were like YOU AREN’T THE UMPIRE

if they’re comfortable with their socks like that then let them be. there isnt a law on how to put your uniform on. some socks arent long enough, and neither are some pants.

Just so you know, my daughter did not throw a fit and didn’t and doesn’t use foul language like someone alluded to. That wasn’t the first ball that was called a strike so she had and has a right to be upset.

I feel bad for Chiara DiLauro (the first Italy pitcher) she was having a rough time the whole game. She got replaced after the two visits which a stupid rule, her team only started getting the outs once the pitcher changed, and her hit got caught at 1:05:20

She will I learned pitching pretty quick so doing it crooked like that she could throw out her shoulder, tear a rotator cuff or she could just be REALLY really sore
I’m a pitcher and I learned it the hard way. When you pitch with your arm going over the top of your head there’s a 75% chance of it dislocating not so much snap
Both teams did absolutely phenomenal!!!! I was very impressed!!! I just have to pick on one thing. At some point in the 1 hour and 13 minute mark there was a ball hit to 3rd and the girl didn’t make the play because she fumbled the ball. This is something all softball players do even girls in college.but the way her teammates acted when she fumbled the ball was unreal. I know they are all probably tired because of all the games they’ve had, but acting so butt hurt over there teammate making a mistake is unnecessary. The girl at 1st and short stop had a real attitude about it. Softball is a TEAM SPORT and not having an attitude about a ball being fumbled. I learned the hard way.

The poor italy team beat them self long before they lost they just had a hard time shacking their mistakes and just had a hard time shanking the bad jojo. Everyone who has ever played knows that feeling and have had one mistake just snowballs they will lean how to handle that as they get older. I just remember being a little girl and how a bad game felt like the end of the world and to add a camera and ESPN to that
