There are 547 passive items in Isaac. If in the beginning of the run you get one of them, the chance is 1/547, to calculate the chance of getting the same item two times in a row we simply multiply that chance by itself, so 1/547*1/547=1/547²=1/299209, or 0,0003%. Long story short, I'd strongly advise chat to, as they say, check him PC. Edit: I've made a phrasing mistake (I'm kinda stupido), getting an item is guaranteed, getting a specific item out of the pool is 1/547, cause there are 547 items and you're getting one of them. Getting the same item twice is 1/299209, whether it's sh or not, I thought I communicated that well enough. Also, someone has pointed out that lost gets a random item from a previous run, not from the entire pool, which increases the odds. But consider that 1: I don't play isaac, cause I don't want to be institutionalized, and 2: spreading misinformation on the internet is funny, so yeah, the chance is 0,0003%.
the chance of getting the same item in a row is only 1/547, since the first roll doesn't matter what you get: any item (547/547 chance) --> whatever item you got the first time (1/547 chance) = 1/547 chance getting specifically *sacred heart* twice in a row though, THAT has the chance you mentioned, since it needs to hit sacred heart both times
This is incorrect. The chance of getting a specific item twice in a row is 1/299209, but the chance of getting an item twice in a row is simply 1/547. You don't multiply the starting item unless you're calculating for a specific item. To explain why, think of it this way. Every run you start with an item guaranteed, there's no chance aspect of getting that item or not. Whether it's Sacred Heart, Bomber Boy, Breakfast, or any others. There's a 100% chance you will get *one* of them. Then, when you start your NEXT run, there's also a 100% chance to get an item, but now it is a 1/547 chance to get the SAME one. Getting the same item THREE runs in a row is indeed 0.0003%, but not two runs
We get so used to bino rigging the game that we forget to acknowledge how fucking insane the luck he has is, I play this game a lot and I haven't seen diplo/wild card at all, yet this man gets it twice in a short amount of time.
survivor bias. all the shit runs albino gets are not posted so only the really good lucky ones are posted. so it looks like albino has youtuber luck but really if you watch his streams he gets dogshit just as much as check him pc
So he just ignores the cracked crown that lil' chest drops after the angel fight at 16:45 and it's never mentioned? My mans is rigging beyond his own comprehension.
Breaking the game? Check Huge ass amount of items and chests? Check Killing boss at one click? Check Still missing in the intro r key and we would have bingo 😢
I played The Binding of Isaac on my PS4 on and off for about 2 years. Did most challenges, unlocked most items, unlocked all endings, had some crazy combination. Just generally had a blast. I can honestly say that I have no idea WTF is happening in this video :D
I’ve watched bino Isaac vids so much that I have forgotten what the coin pickup sound effect really is. I couldn’t even tell you the song anymore. I’m broken
Fun fact there’s a tainted Cain challenge which gives you no items but gives you active item cards, so if you get 2 diplopias you can make infinite cards
0:55 Google tells me you are wrong and the guy in chat was correct. If you wanna calculate the chance of a chain of events, you simply multiply their odds. Like, a coin toss is 50/50, so 0.5 chance for either side. So to know the chance of getting heads twice, you multiple 0.5 by 0.5, which gets you 0.25, or 25% For this, if there are 350 passive items as he claimed, the chance would be (1/350)*(1/350), which gets us 0.00000816326 1 through 0.00000816326 is 122,500.079625, so the chance would be about 1 in 122,500 as the guy in chat said.
"wow ok, fuck this the second he turns on mods this shit starts happening. someone needs to fucking actually check him pc. BULLSHIT" Just highlighting a chat comment that made me giggle for like a minute straight.
