I forget who told him to start saying this, but I don't think they meant for him to start saying it 24/7. You can have a few slow days, and be like "ok guys please try and get to the $100 goal today" (don't agree with this, but just trying to make it make sense) but Phil is doing it EVERY STREAM. I like to think that's because of the documentary. It decently explained the reasons why detractors are annoyed with him and why the detractors are right. He really should focus on taking care of his audience instead of drama farming.
