Where has the time gone 😂. This came out when I first started driving and it reminds me of going up the motorway to some city far away with my mates. The scary thing is since then my son has just started driving lol. It doesn’t seem possible.
As soon as this song started, a shiver went down my spine. I went back 18 years, and this song was in every Italian music chart. It's 2004 and I'm 12 again 😭
2006 year or so. Im 18. Its warm julys night and the huge crowd on the summer outdoor night terrace dancing to this song. Everyone is young, free and happy. Best memories
this song was my deceased fiance's fav record, it was the record I first met her by, in a pub, the song was playing, as I sat down next to her, and 1sat introduced myself to her. the rest is history...but alas on a sad note.......She died last year of bowel cancer. oh how i love this song. i will play it always. God bless u my Em. Love u. this is my tribute to a wonderful woman. night Godbless. XXX
Kids today will never understand.. I was on the waltzers, as a ten year old trying my first cigarette with my money from car washing, brick Motorola in my pocket, when Shazam was dialing 2580 at £2.50 a pop. Nostalgia. We were peak last generation, the world changed when smart phones came into play.
Music from 2018 has nothing on songs like this. What has happened to music. Where is the passion intensity and dialogue. Where is the rhythm the beat the dream that this song creates
David it's long gone,no passion no nothing, the new generation is producing trashy tunes to the point that you want to turn off your radio, and just go back to back on the old ones.
Music from 2022 is far worse. despite breing a mid 80s baby I'm permently stuck in the 80s to 90s🎶and occasionally up to early 00s for music. Today's is all depressing wokeness even the tone is depression x 50. Lewis capaldi Sam smith Ed sheeran? Yeah they bake even more down if I'm not already having a good day It's like 'find your happy voice lads' but they dont. Little wonder the rates of depression and MH are so high cos the music of today is so depressing enough to make you have issues.
@@jean-noeljabagi3653 honestly, I cannot understand today's music and genre, such as Miley Cirus and the other one, Taylor Swift..must be popular amongst the 14 year old ones..I miss the 90's great voices good quality of music..Today am 38. what a journey happy to still be alive and enjoy the 80s and 90's music 😊, getting used with ageing 😊
Haha yeah same, I was 6 when this came out. I first saw it through MTV/Pop on the Sky Box and the repeating 'ah-ah' bit was what I could remember of it.
To my lovely Aunt who suffered 10 agonising years of cancer is now in heaven looking down upon us all. Your in a better place. Wish to joing you soon.. God bless. Reason to comment here is simple this was her favourite song. Peace
The missus used to jump around to this with our 1st grandson when he was a lil un...great memories...he's 6 foot + these days n there's another 7 after him...we are blessed!!!
I heard this song for the first time in 2004, just before I found out that my mother died. 🖤😢 The sky had a strange beige color that I had never seen before and have never seen since. Take me to the clouds above / Take me to the clouds above. My mommy was carried above the clouds that day in 2004...🖤😢
@@chiselmarr1414 It has a very similar rhythm, the drums and bass just much faster, The Edge’s sustained notes from his guitar on the original track can be heard throughout the song underlaying it
Happy 20th anniversary to this iconic powerhouse of a club anthem! And it came out 1 day before I turned 8 on January 26 in 2004. I did not even know that Rachel McFarlane who was in N-Trance's Turn Up the Power song back in 1994 was the vocalist behind this collaboration with U2 ten years later. She has a wonderful. Incredible voice and she did this justice.
RIP to my best friend 1990-2022 this song will always remind me of you and our childhood we had together, rest in peace beautiful, what I'd do to give you a big hug love you! ❤️
Love this. It reminds me of good times.. And I never realized before the backing track is basically a dance version of U2's song-With or Without you....
Heard this first time when I was 13 or something at a friends house. Loved it right away. Then I put it on my mp3 player, played it non stop for a good while
Top tune a timeless classic that sounds fresh in any era or decade! This should be remixed in 2022 as it would be massive! Music from a better decade and moment in time as after 2004 music went shit! And today we only have boring soulless meaningless shite 😴 sadly! Music in the 2020s is like white noise to me! But from the 1990s to 2004 music exploded in two majical euphoric decades 😎🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Completely agreed! Still to this day House music from 1998-2005 are the best years. Electro anticlimactic drops and mainroom has sucked the life out of Dance music.
Que hermoso. Esta canción la escuche en un track de polymarchs o winners esta mezclada con otras canciones, marco mi adolescencia me llena de nostalgia volverla a escuchar 😭🥺
I'm 17 and there's no way ill ever be swayed into liking this so called 'music' they have these days. My mum educated me in good music, they don't make it like this anymore! Beautiful!
This reminds me when I was in school and hearing this in my dreams then when I heard it I fell in love with it. God her voice is so powerful.. high school memories haha
will never listen to this song again without thinking of Sen Const Damian Leeding... RIP & thank you for serving your state... may your widow & children be looked after in their time of need both today & in the future :)
Aww men when I was younger this was the soundtrack to the little movie in my head to every boy I had my second 5 crush on 😂 . Although I was such a loser , I had great taste in music 😂
Used to listen to this in primary school on those cheap thin battery-powered radios that used to come with the earphones that had blue and red rubber grips underneath the speakers.
