LMR Naturals by IFF established a vertically integrated vetiver sourcing platform in Haiti. The synergy with our partner Unikode, and their 20 years of experience in the production of vetiver oil, gives us an exclusive access to the vegetal and extraction tools. The platform is certified For Life by Ecocert in recognition of our compliance with long term visibility for producers that guarantees traceability, sustainable practices that provide fair returns to local communities, our optimizing of resources, and our improved production techniques and extraction processes. LMR is the first producer to introduce harvesting mechanization to improve working conditions and environmental impact by helping clean the roots of the soil in the fields. Our engineers also developed an upcycled ingredient from discarded vetiver water, the LMR vetiver concentrate MD. Our vetiver, presented by Chiaki Nomura, Perfumer at IFF, has woody, penetrating and earthy notes.
