One of the best days I ever had as it was the first time I have ever been on the footplate of my all time favourite steam locomotive, the LNER B12. The crew were fantastic and made the day extra special, I could not have thanked them enough.

I asked the General Office about footplate rides and they gave me documents with all the information. I'm sure Emailing them about it will be possible too. Unfortunately you cant request a certain engine its just what's running on the day but I got very lucky on the day to get 8572. Hope this helps.
