I love this perforamance with all the generations...they all ebb and flow together superbly.. These young children manifest into such spiritual warriors is so inspiring to me. When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy scripture reminds me of this singing
I recognize some of these young men from their childhoods in the choir. But like my friends, some of them have changed so much growing I can't spot them. Still magnificent!
I dont know what to say, this music opened up a new world to me. It used to be a part of German society to be a Jew or to have Jewish ties and it was good. There were more than 500'000 Jews in Germany once before the war. I wish it were normal to come back to that point and even to go further. Our culture and who we are, are linked to the Jewish, even our language and even for those who dont like it.
Unfortunately, history did not work out perfectly. However, keep supporting those who just want to live life and be good and we will hopefully see a day when people are less hateful.
The funny thing is, Yerushalayim wasn't as big of a hit back then as tik tok has made it. XD You can find an interview of Yerachmiel talking about why he thinks that clip went viral when it wasn't anywhere close to their best song.
2.55 is Yoshi Bender and Benji Elson (not sure who the third guy was that joined them, at 4.00 is Isaac Ben Ashai (Hugely underrated this guy his voice was and still is amazing as well as his stage presence)
