I've been cutting with these for a week now and they are amazing. I was using the old low pros but this new battery system is dope. You only have to buy one clipper and one trimmer and a few extra batteries. It beats having to buy multiple machines. It's lighter weight. It's more powerful. That new blade is amazing. And you can get through most of the day with just one battery.

@@Edblessm they’re pretty good but the only thing I don’t like is how the clipper blade gets hella overheated after a while, it gets hella hot. I cut my own hair and I could feel the hotness on my skin kinda burned lowkey but that’s only after using it for like an hour plus

@@damiandiaz7346 not too worried about overhearing personally. I use 2 clippers in rotation usually for the cooldown and looking for something that doesn’t lose power or starts pulling hair after 1-2 months usage. My Ergo X started pulling after about 2 months. Highly don’t recommend

Yo Sean just copped these. I like them so far but because they open longer compared to my magic clips, I kinda get lost in how I usually fade. From the No guard close to open, when your blending, are you just using the 1,2,and 3 notch to blend into the fully open? Also🎉 congrats on the Babyliss sponsorship. I use the old lopro and while they are a machine that does feel great in the hand and the motor is powerful, it is pretty finicky when it comes to any sort of mod. They use a difft cam follower than the other fx as well as a difft spring, good luck finding parts for the old lo pros. Babyliss makes it very difficult to repair their clippers or swap blades. The cam followers are temperamental with other blades and even with the wedge blade on there you have to be dialed exactly on point to the mm for a horizontal fit that won’t cause even the babyliss guards to absolutely scream. My lo pros as well as a few other barbers I know have had issues with the old lo pros getting very loud over time. I’ve been told this is the graphite blades biggest drawback. The trimmers also start to get quite loud after heavy use. Are any of these areas improved?

Just ordered a pair . Do you have to change your fading system up at all and Is it difficult getting used to the stretch lever since most clippers that everybody started with doesn’t open up as much ? Trying to see the benefits to having a new lever system. And also do wahl premium guards fit?

Does the 5 position lever extend as much on these as the Lo pro influencer edition? That was a huge win…. Influencers extended 4.2mm per the box. I’m assuming that has not changed but wanted to check with you.

Hey Sean. From a left hander here. It looks like the lever has a little higher travel. Any idea if that would get in the way and would keep getting nudged down used by a lefty. Always used right handed clippers before because that's all that's really ever been out so not a problem with them just that LoPro FX1 looks like it sits up a little higher than usual. I got the Cyborg a few weeks ago thinking that was going to be great to have the lever on the other side. I guess though not having it there all these years it just seems odd. So just not feeling the Cyborgs all that well just yet. Thanks in advance.

Hey man this is compelety unrelated to the actual video but, I was given some old wahl clippers from my uncle that has rusty blades, seems like some walmart ones their corded and actually seem pretty powerful, you think if I swap the blade it could be decent?If so what blade would you reccomend? Looking for the model name rn. Ok their called wahl fade cuts, the red and silver model.

Are these the same as the LoPro Special Edition Influencer? Right now, both the influencer trimmer and clippers are on sale as a bundle for only $200 which is way cheaper than if you were to buy them separately.

what would you say is better this lo pro fx uno trimmer or the boost+ influencer edition? The loscuts edition to be exact lol not even to sure if its the boost+ or if its just the skeleton fx kinda like the og gold one just with a runner grip but i have a buddy letting go of both for pretty cheap just don’t know which one to invest in. Im barely starting off and am really indecisive between the both lol & i value your feedback along with other feedback in general. Leaning towards the lowpro due to all the new features and just how unique it is from the old model. never had either so im just indecisive between the two

Yeah they cut very similar. If you don’t need the battery of the fx one then the boost is solid. One of the best most well rounded trimmers. Can’t go wrong with the lo pro though

Awesome video. One last question…. Seems to me the new JRL Onyx and the Lo Pro FX1 may be the top new clippers(best in class). I know you have reviewed both. One thing I like about the newer Lo pros is how open the lever distance goes (I think they quite 4.2mm). Do you feel like the JRL’s also have a larger span as well or not? I have not seen as much info on that in regards to the JRL Onyx.

I got the fx one low pros and had an issue they can’t be zero gapped due to the cutting blade not moving straight across , the blade seems to move in a wedge format . Is that a common issue with these ? I had to buy another pair to compare and it was the same thing

I think I’ll just buy the blade and swap it onto my snap fx. Has two batteries already and they’ve not failed me after a year. Atm i dont see the use in buying another different ecosystem if babyliss thinks its fine to move on from it after 1 gen. No doubt that these are fire but maybe not another 200 dollars fire

Man.. I bought these and I bought the saber clippers at the same time. I was planning on selling one after I decided which one I like more and I’m not sure which one I like better, honestly. I did half a head with each on all my cuts today and I honestly am undecided. Either the lopro is over rated or the saber is underrated 😂

These don't seem to work with the Babyliss pro guards, they rattle and get super loud regardless of how I adjust the metal clip. Have you noticed that?

No I use Babyliss premiums with no issue. Only thing I had happen was the blade wasn’t centered and hit the guard on one side. Double check that and you should be good!

Hey, do you think that buying this set is worth it for a 14 year old trying to become a barber? Becuaae i have been looking and am realy passionate about this and just came arcoss this. Is there any better more afordable clippers 9r is it just better to go all out in equitment to start off?

Feel in the hand Babyliss , fading both are great JRL is quieter which I really love and the clicks on them are so satisfying. Battery life JRL 4-5 hours Babyliss 2.5-3 hrs. JRL blade almost never gets hot even after 2-3 cuts back to back

Anyone have a problem with the charger not working? Only used them once and now the batteries aren’t lighting up at all when I put them on the charger.

@@Seancutshair Got mine to work again. Another barber had shoved a battery in the wrong way and I just needed to pull one of the connections out a lil bit for it to make contact.

That’s how most Babyliss trimmers turn on. Idk what it is but they kinda start slow and roll up to full speed
