If you like this, then you would love Ultraspank, which is the first band Pete Murray sang for, they get even better. But this is a great album, and he has one helluva underrated voice
I graduated in 2016 and I kinda wish I had the chance to go to hs with kids listening to rock. It was mostly just rap/trap which I don't mind. Only a few kids at my school new how to rock out every once in awhile.
An amazing band that never got enough credit like Revis or Failure. Love their albums. Agree with others - completely underrated. I would love to see these guys live.
I've listened to all kinds of vocals by all kinds of artists and this is top ten of all time. I don;t think people understand how hard it is to scream at a certain octive and change it quick then hold it....crazy
This song suddenly bubbled up in my head after many, many years out of nowhere, and I spent an hour trying to remember who sang it. It started playing on repeat in my mind, and I had to play it 3 times! What a rockin' song!
I'm out here on a limb for you again Around and round we go, getting nowhere Why can't I explain the way I feel again? Why can't I just stand Instead I crawl to you again Why's it always feel like Sunday? I hacked myself to bits, for you again Hanging on to this for nothing Why can't I explain the way I feel again? Why can't I just stand Instead I crawl to you again Why's it always feel like Sunday? I've had enough of you I've had enough of you Why can't I explain the way I feel again? Why can't I just stand Instead I crawl to you again Why's it always feel like Sunday? Why's it always feel
Me too. They were a severely underrated band, as is Lo-Pro. Was lucky enough to be doing security back when they did a small acoustic show in Hartford, CT. Was an amazing performance. Wish Lo-Pro and Ultraspank had gotten the recognition they truly deserved.
This song is likely about a relationship gone sour, but I hear it and feel like it applies to my life somehow, and that's awesome. Intense song. The energy of emotion emenating from his singing and the band rocking in the background is just right.
To my knowledge, Lo-Pro is no longer together and hasn't been since shortly after their debut album was released. Still love these guys, and the album is excellent.
Saw these guys with Staind a lot of years ago in Mlps. never heard of them before that concert and was absolutely blown away. Next day bought this CD. Glad I did, great from front to back.
Idk if yall check the comment on your videos or what but man this band is my life, I love your music so much I would do anything in this world just to meet you guys and hear a song live, your music has gotten me through so much it's unreal I'll be listening to your seldtitled lo pro album until i die thank you guys so very much for making this💓
Okay ya'll! Today's date as I write this down at 6:14 p.m. is June 6th 2021 (6/20/2021.) It is actually Sunday today. Here else is here with me today soaking up those nostalgic summer high school memories of youth of the 2003 - 2004 ear of rock/nu metal radio? 🙌🏾
This song’s such a classic for me, and I only heard it for the first time maybe just under a year ago. Gets stuck in my head quite often. Nice video, too.
September 2021 and this is one of my favorite songs ever and I can't stop playing it on a loop, course so catchy heavy and man I forreal can't get enough of it
If you like Pete Murray's voice: White Noise Owl-for people who like hard rock Life on Planet 9-for people who like electronic/ambient Chokt-for people who like Industrial rock Ultraspank-for people who like nu metal. Personally, I like all of these bands of his, but I find the Theory of Everything by Life on Planet 9 to be the album I keep going back to over and over throughout the years, I'd say it's tied with the Lo-Pro self titled album by my favorite work from Pete Murray.
I love when these ancient RU-vid videos from yester decade still have great audio quality all these years later, a lot of music videos from the 00's had ass sound quality
I think they were swept under the rug because they came at the VERY TAIL END of the numetal scene. The door was being closed as they tried to enter essentially. If this single came out in 2000-2001, they would’ve been up there with the likes of Staind or Chevelle. Unfortunately, they tried to slide into home plate after the game was over. It doesn’t take away how amazing they were. I bought their album. It was solid!
I remember when Ultraspank was playing live in the 90s. I remember when Murray announced Lo-Pro, I remember when this song dropped. I remember being super happy that Jerry joined the band (more OG Ultraspank members? Why the fuck not!?) Very good times in my life! Revisit this video at least 10 times a year. I hope they bring some new music soon!
LoPro was signed onto a record label called 413 Geffen which was created by Staind's Aaron Lewis and Mike Mushok. Sadly they didn't hit it huge. But they still are a very good band
