Hard to say 2 years later.. we do not sell Load Trail any longer. Here's a link to current in stock deckover power tilt trailers to consider: www.bestchoicetrailers.com/all-inventory/flatbed-trailers/bumper-pull-tilt
I bought one of these hydraulic deckover tilt trailer in 2018. By far the best investment and hydraulic trailer on the market. I would say however there are 2 design flaws. The diamond plate steel back deck is way to thin of a material for this bed. Overtime it will flex and bow in over the cross members underneath. I ended up adding another 1/4 steel plate welded overtook of it so it will never bow again due to heavy loads. The other issue is the rear of the trailer what they call "knife edge" design is anything but that. It's a Pain in the @ss to load equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts , low clearance vehicles because they get caught on the 1 1/2 end and dig in. It really needs to be sized down to like a 1/2 or 1/4 knife edge. Other then that. Trailer has exceeded my expectations. If I order a new one in a few years I fully intend to pay extra for the heavier steel flat steel deck on the rear of the trailer and have a true knife edge tail design straight from the factory that's if load trail intends to correct that issue from the factory.
For what you are doing, it would seem like a gravity tilt may be a better fit, as that does have the knife edge you are referring to, as well as a much lower loading angle (about 10-11 degrees vs. 15-16 on a deckover tilt) and a lower deck height (about 21in vs. 33in on a deckover tilt). @@BestChoiceTrailers I need a power tilt for what I do. This week I'm dropping my trailer off at a local trailer shop to have them add a steel knife edge design to the trailer. In my opinion that's all it would need to make my trailer more effective in my hauling operation.
