Loaded Kanthaka official release video. Trevor, Ethan and Nic bring their own style and personal touch to the streets of San Francisco. Adam C. and Adam S. composed a lot of tight shots and focus rolls to bring the action close along with a fast paced, multiple angle edit. There is a lot going on in this video so you may have to watch it more than once to take it all in. We hope the video inspires you all to go out and skate.

Hey guys! Ethan Cochard here! I knew alot of people would get confused about my wheels i was riding. They indeed ARE Fat Frees, just flipped the other way. I was rocking wider trucks than Trevor and Nick, so with the Fat Frees on the normal way, they stuck out way too far, but fit just perfectly if i flipped them around. Doesn't work on every wheel out there, but it was perfect with the Fat Frees! Hope this helps! -ec

Longboarding is and always has been a form of skateboarding. The sport isn't "evolving" like others put it, riders are simply seeking new experiences and expanding their skills. Skateboarding is what you make it, whether you're bombing hills, jumping gaps, cruising, or shredding pools you can always mix it up and get creative. Skateboarding isn't a defined thing, its an art form. It's a form of expression and individuality, where everyone can create whatever they want. Now go make some art!

I think it is cool that its both a long-board and skateboard one of the coolest decks I have ever seen ,it's called the Loaded Kanthaka. It's the best of both boards. :)

I dont own this board, but a couple of buddies of mine do and I was lucky enough that one let me borrow his... Definately THE sickest board ive ever thrashed on!!! So comfy, really stable with 159 indys and slides for days with metro micro motions!!! Btw trucks and wheels are mine haha great effin job loaded!! Cant wait for the tesseract!!!!

The board featured in the video is what's known as a Hybrid :P It has qualities of both; street decks and longboards. Both are skateboards. The double kick is really nice for freeriding, and the board is symmetrical so that helps too for switch.

I agree with you, I think Loaded should try bringing back the cruising, dancing and plain old freestyle, despite the fact that downhill and tech sliding is pretty awesome.

Hate how most top comments on videos i watch about longboarding nowadays are people arguing about whether longboarding is copying skateboarding, or how longboarding has changed from what it used to be, top comments used to be about being stoked and encouragement, thats what it should be like on all videos really

You know, I skated for 6 years before I started longboarding, you'd be surprised how different the change is. I honestly have more fun longboarding than I ever did skating. But that's just me. (Maybe others too). :)

Hi there, not sure if someone will react on this comment… but: the setup of Ethan and Trevor shows that they use the Indy 169 on the 8.875 as well as the 8.625. On the other hand: In the 600 comments one could find several guys stating that the 150 is the max. What’s right now? Thx!

Gave myself the answer. Bought the 8.875 with Indy 169 and yellow skiffs. Fits perfect. Great setup. With a 5 degree wedge it becomes a nice cruiser, too

Wider kanthak, indy 159 trucks, khiro yellow 92a barrel boardside, indy stock black small cone roadside. I love abec thane and ive cored the piss out of a set of 66mm freerides and two sets of noskoolz.... Dope board guys... Still gettin footage for my first vid!

they're flipped fat frees, they work really well on the kanthaka like that cuz then the wheels dont stick out from under the board.

Bustin Boards did the techslide/pool/street deck thing before loaded did and for a lot cheaper with the Bustin Yoface. If anything, get the Yoface or a normal skateboard deck

This is a technical skateboard, so its just a skateboard that's a bit longer with more concave. Which is nice for a lot of people that don't like "tiny' skateboards or want to do slide tricks

off set wheels stick out more and can get in the way when doing flip tricks and what not. by flipping them the wheels stay completely under the board so you dont accidentally step on the wheels when landing a trick with your feet slightly off the board. but you're right, those dont look like fat frees.

Sometimes I'm more amazed and I get more into the film, as for what it is, 'cause the way it's been done, more than the amazing skating skills that these guys have! well yeah, but what I think is great is that it can't turn into only tech sliding, because you can't race on a tech slide board, and LDP is also a no go, so its kinda like, long boarding has so many different uses and areas, there will always be more than one area of riding that can't be replicated

i visited san fran over the summer, and drove on that road that he was skating down at the end. all i could think about the whole time was "holy shit, why did i not bring my board"
