The official release video for the Loaded Chubby Unicorn follows ambassadors Maxim Garant Rousseau, Trevor Baird, Kyle Chin, and Dane Webber through the meandering mountain ranges of Southern California. Locking into the board's ergonomic interface for high speed drift control and utilizing its beefy symmetrical kicks for ollies and freestyle tricks, the Loaded team embraces the Chubby's innovative design in their exploration of downhill freeride and freestyle skateboarding.

I have one and honestly it is the tightest most locked in board ive ridden i rode " The kalai" for a while and i thought no other board would be better then i got on this thing and its sooooo comfy OMG xD totally worth the cash

Size 8 and 5'8" on a good day. ;) The Chubby was designed around a size 8-11 shoe, so it'll fit you just fine.

loaded isn't the only company making boards. Several other companies make boards that are within the price ranges of many people. Loaded makes fun and great products that will sell through reputation.

For all of you complaining about the price of the board read this! It is kind of expensive but that's only because of the way is built and time put into it, BUT another board like the Lifelong Seeker is very similar and only costs $160 US dollars. So if you are willing to compromise a little of the Chubby Unicorn's specs look into that board it is a lot cheaper as well. Hope this helped, bye!!

They are using Orangatang Stimulus 70mm(the yellow one) and Orangatang In Heat 75 mm(The orange one) Orangatang is a company who is owned by Loaded boards. That is why they have Orangatang wheels on their boards at their webiste :) Hope I helped you

yes, your gonna have to rock a small riser and smaller wheels, i've got caliber 44's, running a padded 3/8 riser and abec11 freeride 66mm

for everybody freaking out about the price. 360 for a deck is expensive, but you're getting what you pay for. Get a job, put aside some cash for this board, then buy it. It's amazing for downhill, freeride, and freestyle. 360 is a perfectly good price for this deck, considering all of its features and what its made of.

Ahh, the golden years of longboarding… I just started riding again since 2017. The scene here in Brasil has faded drastically. Lots of shops closed, many switched to street skateboarding and 95% of the dudes stopped riding. It feels good to ride again, despite I have no friends riding along anymore. How’s the sport doing lately up in the US? Do you guys still ride like years ago?

You guys have to try it. It locks you in PERFECT, it's so comfy, I adapted to it on the first slide after using my daisy.. It's incredibly light too, it's a sick deck

@ChrisM. I agree with you, boards are like hiking shoes, they should fit you, they should be able to take the wear you put on them, they should meet your standards, then you should like the way they look. There is no overall "best" there is only individual "best"

True... I like to tell myself its because bamboo is a harder material to work with and thus the labor and pricing are more expensive but theres definitely some "Apple" effect there too... haha didn't stop me from buying two of their boards, which are amazing :)

Okay dude, i dont know all there is to know about skateboards, but I know enough to say, if you want that much money for a plank of wood, obviously people will call it overpriced. and youre right, if it was 150, then everyone will love it, because thats a REASONABLE price for a skateboard

If it was up to them they would. They dont want to charge extra just to rip off their fans, its just how this board it made. This is a totally new and different board for its time, and the production value is just as expensive as the cost of the finished board.

I remember when the Dancer came out I said the same thing about it being over priced and it being a lot of hoopla over something that isn't very different...then I rode one. Then I bought one. $300 bucks so well spent! I'd say that this board'll probably be the same sort of deal haha

It's expensive because of the technology and the materials used. It's a revolutionary board. I just hope that Longboarding doesn't become like Snowboarding which costs hundred of dollars just to start. Longboarding is a special board sport because it doesn't cost all that much money to get started. I'd like to keep it that way instead of having the industry modernized with $360 boards.

Loaded should consider making a "budget" version of the board with the same features but with a cheaper construction and maybe no sidewalls. I'm telling you, make an affordable version of this deck and it'll fly off the shelves

so back to this community thing, i know everyone would die to ride this board because its fresh, new, and has been extremely hyped in this small community and yes i know no ones forcing us to buy it. but alls most people can afford from loaded is their free sticker. now a trend can set where companies can over price their products because the big guys can and it's working (not saying its going to but its a prediction).

I love this board but im torn between the Dervish Sama or this. What should I get? Im big into grab tricks like tiger claws, bone flips etc, but I also like kickflips, oldschool kickflips, varial flips, shov its, etc. Which is better for me?

hey loaded theres this thing called wood. its cheep, its malleable, its strong, and stable. it makes for a great skateboard. and it doesn't cost $360

They own the wheel company that they use the urethane for the board so from that they should be getting the thane in mass amounts to make all their wheels and now boards with for discounted prices for them. me coming from a degree involving woodworking i know that basswood is a relativity cheap softwood and depending the amount you can afford to buy at once you get major discounts.

$360 is not a lot of money for a top of the line complete skateboard but it is for a deck. You can't compare a bike to a deck. A bike has a frame, wheelset, drive train, brakeset... it goes on. Not to mention many of those parts are made of expensive aluminum and composite material because weight matters when you're pedaling up hill. A good deck needs 9 plies of 1/16" maple. Get 4 JET decks for $360 or 1 Chubby Unicorn made of fiberglass, urethane and whatever else.. they do the same thing.

That's a good point but drumming and longboarding are two extremely different things. I've played drums since I was old enough to walk, and yes I know they are ridiculously expensive, however, they always have been! Longboarding is a humble sport that SHOULD be for the masses. That's just my opinion. Personally I would love to see more people on longboards, and the NUMBER-ONE reason people aren't buying longboards is because of the INSANE cost of a decent one. Not everyone has $500 for a board!

I miss my sidewinder sector 9 longboard. I need tol go get it from Albuquerque. This reminds me of snowboarding...I need to get some wheels that can do this. I would die if I tried to drift or scrub off speed with mine, the tires are too grippey.
