We load some bales with a john deere tractor onto an international truck. Alfalfa bale are for the cows down the road of the neighbor who run cows on the land at work. Have a good one!

Nice open hay shed ,did that for 40 yrs along with grain farming great life.

Thanks Trevor. That tractor looks a little light at the back - it could do with a counter-weight or ballast in the tires. I can remember the feeling of an open-station tractor out in the field - I told myself it was as close as I was going to get to owning an open-top car!

Nice change from other videos! Thought about once I’m finally able to escape from Seattle volunteering a couple seasons to learn how to grow and cut alfalfa then renting a few acres. Just to feel productive since I’m a disabled vet. Think I’ll be too old now though.

How many cuttings do you get per year nice looking hay good drone shots 👍👍

Thank you. I believe 3 cuttings, theres handlines so this is irrigated stuff on the bottoms here.

Thanks for the video! Just was curious - were the fields on either side of the alfalfa field previously wheat fields? Or were they taken out into the CRP program? One looks fenced off now and must be used for pasture, but they just have the 'look' of being former crop fields.

It's part of the CRP program. The fields next to the aflalfa field on that side of the road are in CRP. Across the gravel road is pasture land.
