I'm the 12th of 13 siblings and I grew up in the 60-70's down in Miami. Palmetto bushes were a swat you didn't forget about for a while. Once my Dear Mom was trimming her rose bush 🤪, Dog, those thorns put a sting on ya that would leave track marks 🤣🤣🤣🤣 As she said, Tony we were trying to keep you alive. Thanks Mom and Dad for Showing your Love, even when it hurt.

My father was a Marine so my 3 siblings and I definitely learned to be respectful and well behaved or "the belt was coming off" and we knew it. Love yours and Kelly's channel. Keep giving all glory to God. Much love and prayers!! 💕🙏🏻

Y’all exactly right with kids getting their butt torn up these days! I was getting mine tore up every time the wind changed directions growing up. But, I deserved every one I got and actually thanked my parents once I grew up and seen they loved me and was doing what was best for me.

I remember running in a circle almost everyday from them hickory switches lol. That was a thing from 1984 till about 1993 lol. I just didn't learn haha.

Hey Gabe, my girlfriend made lobsters with pineapple 🍍 🦞. Believe it or not is super delicious. You slice the pineapple in half and use it as a base, we put the chunks of lobster inside and put it in the oven. I have a video on my channel about it. It’s called Lobster Cooked in a Pineapple ☺️ just an idea 🙏

Now, you know by now I do my best to watch every one of your videos Gabe, and I'm a big fan but, I have to mention something. Please when you put up a font that says "I'm diving alone and self filming" reconsider how you phrase that. you could say "Kelly was on the boat when I jumped in solo etc" but giving a lot of youngsters who look up to you the impression that you were diving alone without a buddy or someone on the surface is just well, wrong. You should always dive with a buddy, period. Now, that steak looked AMAZING and I will be trying it next time I go out, in a week or so. Lobster here is stupid expensive so I might substitute Dungeness Crab, or King Crab Legs. Either way that looked SO, so good I might even haul the Dutch Oven along and do some sourdough to go along with it. Congratulations Jake on an awesome Buck!! You, young Sir are becoming a Hunting Force to be reckoned with!! I hope you're getting in there and learning what all is in a deer that can be used, how to skin the critter and how to joint the meat in case you need to pack it out. These are skills that your Dad learned from his Dad, just like my skills I got from my Father and someday you will be able to pass those skills on to your son or daughter! GREAT JOB JAKE!!!! Some of my greatest memories come about in Washington Arkansas where my family have a Deer lease that they have leased since 1988ish. I worked for a company that sold wholesale tires and wheels driving a box truck. I would run my route on fridays stop at a grocery store in the town at my last stop. buy pork chops big potatoes for baked tators steaks sometimes butter and all that even charcoal in case they didnt have any. The deer lease was between there and the house. eat drink and sleep then come home the next day

South Georgia boy here living in craptastic IL because I married a born and raised Chicago girl. Us Georgians didn't call it "beatings" we called it "gettin whupped." Mothers would have us go out and pick up a hicky stick and then we would have to "skin it" before we got whupped with it😬🥴. I'm 48, so those were the BEST days growing up in the South fishing, shooting, and having great time being a kid!

Picanha is really popular in brazil 🇧🇷. My girlfriend lives in brazil and I just visited her for 2 weeks and got to eat Picanha twice. Its a game changer for sure! Unbelievable flavor.

I remember well the whoopin's I got and my son got the same....also remember the infamous "look" my mom gave and you knew you crossed the line. Kids and even some younger adults are the way they are because they never had that structure and discipline hense the "entitlement syndrome" (for lack of a better term). Nice to find a channel that is real and teaches what life is really about, family, friends, hard work (that you enjoy) and living off what GOD gave us.

Difference in discipline is Love, If it hurts you because you love the child and care for the child welfare your type of discipline is no doubt needed for the child...

The mosquitoes at the cabin in Upper Michigan used to be so bad you literally couldn’t breathe. You couldn’t enjoy a fire like you are in this video. I stumbled across a product called Bifen IT. That and a back pack Stihl sprayer and we can enjoy being in the yard again. It’s a game changer.

So, I’ve always liked to cook and I’m a huge fan of being able to hunt and fish and cook for my family. I went to a local meat market here in brooksville fl and picked up a picanha roast. I’ve never cooked one before so I decided to give it a try. Holy cow it was perfect… even my 13 year old son who doesn’t like to eat steak loved it! Thanks for the great video! I watch every one you guys put out!

Congrats Jake! great video!. I have cooked a few picanha steaks before but never cut up like that or on an open fire. I recommend doing a reverse sear on one in the Traeger. Low and slow and finish it off hot and it really lets the fat cap melt.

I remember those growing up. That's the problem with kids nowadays there's not enough of it. The lesson of doing what you're told and respecting others.

Heck yeah, I’ve been eating Picanha for a few years now. I was introduced to it by Guga from Guga Foods. One of the best cuts of meat.

81 myself what happened back then was just called discipline that’s how you learned to tell the truth and also respect. Honestly that is what’s wrong today cause verbal discipline doesn’t work at all what do you learn nothing! lucky me though that my boys are really good kids never really cause trouble so never had to discipline them more than just a few times their entire life so far and my kids are 20 and 16 now!

I used to get hit with a yardstick from my mom. The problem with today's kids if they don't get a whipping when they screw up. Instead, most of the parents today want to give their kids a trophy or sticker for everything they do right or wrong.
