If you haven’t already, comment below and tell us how many whole lobsters and lobster tails you would eat. 🦞🦞🦞 We promised we would reveal how many lobsters we ate if 20 others revealed how many they would eat. Here are the numbers: Mr. Explore Vegas 5 whole lobsters and 7 lobster tails, Mrs. Explore Vegas 1 whole lobster and 3 lobster tails. Next time my goal is 10 & 10!
Next time show us the art of buffeting. Like how to prepare your stomach so that you can get the most value of your buffet dollars without tapping out early on the many delicious dishes.
I appreciate how you don't rush showing us the food. Great speed, narration, and now there are faces to this channel! Let's get you up and over 100,000 subscribers + sooner than later.
Thank you SO much for your kind words and support! 100,000 subs would be incredible. We are so grateful to you and everyone who subscribes to our channel!
I soooooo agree with you! Love that he takes his time with video, showing us all The Palm’s has to offer on their buffet! Love his whole format!!!! They all continue to be, without exception, interesting, concise, he takes his time with each subject matter & I so love that he doesn’t zoom through at break neck speed as many other blog/channels do but takes his time showing us each detail( so appreciate that!) & covers all the interesting ( 🤩 “FUN, too!) items on the buffet but also things that we all need to know, if going there! Great job on this video as he does on “each & every single one of his videos!!” ♥️
You have just walked me through my ultimate dream!!! I never imagined somewhere there was actually a all you can eat seafood buffet. I am just in heaven seeing everything you showed us. What a variety. I'm sure I could eat 2 lobsters, 4or5 tails, crab legs and shrimp. Always with drawn butter! Amazing place. Thanks for sharing the fun! What a treat.
Thank you, Gail! This was definitely a good place for seafood lovers. The lobsters, shrimp and crab are our favorites too! 🦞🍤🦀 Thank you for watching! ☺️
Check out The Nordic in Charlestown, Rhode Island! It's just over $100 but far more seafood options. It also has a comfier feel, they treat you like family. Also not far from the ocean. A true seafood lovers dream.
@@sasseey8664 Geez another price hike there? I live in MA and usually just murder my own when on sale. But always wanted to make it to the Nordic. BTW on beach days I will go to the Seafood Shacks, but usually get whole clams or oysters. Now and again I go for a hot, buttered lobster roll. Craving lobster now
You and your wife are absolutely adorable! I love your videos! BTW, the "hard" dessert you had are Pecan or Walnut Snowballs (also called Mexican Wedding cookies and Russian Tea Cakes). I would definitely have 3 of the whole lobsters...and then fill up on that delicious looking corn chowder and mango/banana gelato. Thanks to you, I have to wipe drool off my screen. 😂
Thank you SO much Tina! ☺️ Thank you for letting me know about the Mexican Wedding cookies and Russian Tea cakes. When I grabbed it, I thought it was a cream puff. It was yummy, but not what I expected. 😂 As for the drool, we are right there with you. We’ve both been dreaming of lobster since we went there. 😂🦞🤤
From Canada 🇨🇦 here and coming next month for first time in 3 years! 🎉🎉🎉 Was so crushed to hear silverton lobster buffet is not available anymore - I'm so excited to hear about this one! Will check out the palms for sure!!!
We love all you can eat lobsters. The only problem with this lobster buffet as well as the lobster buffet in Yaamava (San Manuel) casino in SoCal is the lobsters are pretty dry and tough to eat. It not as juicy and moist as if you were to order a la carte at a restaurant. But hey, it's all you can eat, you can't beat that. Just wish it was not overcooked.
I think we did better because we arrived on opening day right when they opened. Maybe later in the evening this happened? I know the lines are long now so it’s harder to get in earlier. 😬
I love lobster but My favorite is the luscious king crab legs. That brisket looks so delicious. That’s a whole lot of deliciousness and well worth the price. I need to go back to Vegas and try this. 😍🥰
We went to this buffet pre-pandemic and thought it was great, especially for the price. Now with the lobster will definitely go back. I’m not sure how many lobsters I could eat. Would probably mostly have the tails, maybe 6 - 7 ? Will have to see!!! Thanks for the video.
Wow! Those were huge lobsters. The Rio, back in the day, had two buffets, one was the Seafood Buffet. Their lobster tails were about a 3rd of the size you just had. I used to like the cold crab legs, but found out the steamed were much better, less water (melting ice) content. Have not tried the Palms since the ownership change, now I will.
I remember both Rio buffets. At one point they combined them before they closed during the pandemic. The Palms is doing a great job with their buffet. One of the best for sure. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for watching our videos!
I wish they had some dishes that incorporated the lobster like lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster sushi, or lobster mac and cheese. I know I'm the weird one, but for my taste I prefer it mixed with other foods. This is true for me including other shellfish such as crab or shrimp.
Gotta admit, I’m not a huge lobster fan. The whole buffet looked amazing. Finally got to see what you look like. Thanks for sharing another great video.
Yum! Yum! Yum! Thanks for letting us know all the important information about this amazing looking buffet! It looks extraordinary! Love! Love! Love this channel! Please do the Seafood Buffet at Bellagio ( is it still as good as it was ten yrs ago?) & the “BOSTON LOBSTER SEAFOOD BUFFET” in Orlando, Florida( no time limit when we went!) & “Brazilian Buffet” in both Orlando & Hyannis, Ma. out on Cape Cod! I understand there is a Lobster Buffet in Charleston, Rhode Island too( think name of city is!)! Please review these in future for love to see them! Thank-you for this amazing video! Loved seeing the Palm’s buffet! I just subscribed longgg time ago & absolutely love your channel/blog! ♥️💗♥️💗♥️💗♥️💗♥️💗♥️💗
Thank you for being a subscriber and for watching our videos. ☺️ We reviewed the Bellagio a few months back. It’s only open for brunch now and needs some more seafood offerings. No more king crab or any crab at all. Here is a link to that tour: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mJ_1O8OCaSY.html
That one you thought was a cream puff is a wedding cookie I think. It’s kind of like a cookie with pecans in it rolled in powdered sugar. They are really good.
It was actually fresh and very tasty. In my mind I was thinking it was a cream puff and anticipating it to be soft. Off camera I saw it had some pecans in it too. Yum!
Thanks for this review! My gout is already starting to act up just watching this deliciousness! I normally can get through two whole lobsters and three to four lobster tails (gout aside). Now, based on market rates (fresh lobster) you would need to eat three (1 1/2 lb.) lobsters to pay for the full value as noted (of course you would have to count for cooking etc.). A lot of people aren't into the whole lobster because of the work and mess. to me that's the best part! Overall for the $60+ value that is a great deal!
@@JohnstonPettigrew I have a couple of times. Fortunately not sever as when I eat red meant (steak). We don't eat a lot of red meat as it is so not as worried. We grew up on fish and shellfish so sad that we don't eat shellfish as often now.
🤣🤣🤣🤣My brother-in-law has the same problem ha! & tries to “stay away” from lobster 🦞 & shell fish in general due to the gout but it is impossible for him to stay away entirely with lobster! Ha! He pays the price each time but worth it, he said to go here! LOL! He is definitely heading to the Palms, as my husband, brother & sister-in-law are the next time we visit Vegas! We eat often at Maine Lobster Seafood 🦞 Buffet in Orlando, Florida, each time we visit our sons ,brother & sister! Now we know a yummy place in Vegas we can go to, thanks to your amazing video! Thank-you so much! Love your wife & you ( you both are so darn cute!) in this video! I definitely subscribed for watching this video is so much fun!!! Well done! 🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞
It’s looks so good I just went and now want to go back on a Wednesday & Feel like @exploreVegas Needs to come with me 😉👏 Great video brotha & So much lobsters & I don’t even know how many I would eat I think 5 🤷♂️🤦♂️ Looks like the butters is a must 100% 👏
Excellent video guy. You clearly showed everything this buffet had to offer. I had to subscribe hope to see more buffet videos like this. Have a good day.
So delicous looking I would eat 1 lobster and two tails. There is so much to choose from, but the price . Such a value from other reviews I have watched. Thank you.
alright ! VEGAS is now on my bucket list- I may never leave !!! I got to get A TRAVEL PARTNER who has the same mind set- all the buffets tours are the highlight of the entire visit !!!
Nice video. Looked really good. No pizza. Lobster tails I could eat at least 10, lol and a couple of whole lobsters. The carving area looked good. Liked the look of all of it. Thanks for this review.
Was there yesterday at the Palm's AYCE Lobster Night Buffet. It was super crowded. Going to wait a few more weeks or months until the popularity dies down. Not going to waste my time waiting 3 to 4hrs at a buffet line.
Wow, I would love to go ALL out, but these days I could not do much better than one lobster and two tails. I would top off with bits of all the rest I would hope.
@@ExploreVegas oh yes the buffet deal is by far the best I have seen from anywhere. Dare I say, the buffet is worth driving to Vagas alone. Awesome video.
The lobster buffet looks amazing. So many other delicious items besides, the lobsters, too. I would most likely eat two whole lobsters and three tails, in addition to the other delicious meat items. Unfortunately, on my next trip in a couple of weeks, I will be seeing Carrie Underwood on a Wednesday night, so no lobster buffet for me this next trip. Maybe another time. Thanks for the video! Nice to see you and Mrs. Explore Vegas in it.
I can definitely get down with this buffet. Your system is masterful. I like to graze and try small amounts from the stations of interest. 4-6 lobsters for sure and a few pounds of those luscious crab legs. Pizza for dessert. 👍
Great buffet everything looks beautiful. I never eat pizza on a buffet. I will definitely do Wednesday night at AYCE, such a beautiful selection of seafood. I would eat two lobsters that's plenty for me. I have tails on my loftis so I don't need extra it's not my favorite part my favorite of the knuckles. That meat is extra sweet. Thanks for posting this video.
I agree with you! I never eat pizza either on buffet or any of the stuff you can get “any ole time”🤣 but head directly for “the main event”😂or I will be to full! Ha! I have learned my lesson & after not eating all day will head directly for the crab legs ( Bellagio) & prime rib. I seldom even do salad but maybe a veggie( sm amt) or I will be to full!
Wednesday Lobster night at the PALMS A.Y.C.E. was GREAT; Son, Grandson, and me had 6 each of combination Tail & Whole Lobster. My Wife & Mother ate 3 each of the combination. Wife and Mom enjoyed the Oriental delights and variety of desserts. The ROASTED meat section was also GREAT & TASTY. The only "NEGATIVE they're VERY DISORGANIZED" on entering Buffet process. "BUT" the problem we went through I'll DEFINITELY do it again. ONO-LICIUOS.
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it and your family had some good lobster. I hope the process gets better. We’ll have to check it out again soon. Thank you for watching!
Excellent review. I’m gonna have four lobster tails. That’s my main love. And I’m so excited can’t wait to go and try it all out. Thanks and once again excellent review.
I love that you go and try these new places and post them. Thr buffet looks amazing in your video. However my complaint is that with many people posting videos about the place it makes it hard to get in. Example: I have a group of 4 friends that have been standing in line since 4:45 p.m. and when I called them around 8:15 p.m. they still have not made it into the buffet. Due to all this social media restaurants are becoming more difficult to get into, let alone the wait. A week ago their was barely a line to get in and now over 4 hours to get in and when you do they close at 9 p.m.
Oh my. I hope it calms down a little after the initial shock. I want to go back again as well. All of the reviews get the word out quickly. I do believe it is amplified even more so because this is the only buffet in Las Vegas offering whole lobster and lobster tails. I hope your friends made it and we’re able to enjoy some lobster! 🦞
We only have a few more buffets we previously filmed without getting on camera tasting the food. They will come out in the upcoming weeks. After those, we’ll have more like this one. We really try to listen to everyone’s feedback to make videos more appealing for all. 😊
Omg I love that you can get a whole lobster. I need to check out the Palms buffet one day. If I get a chance to go there on lobster night, I'll probably eat at least 3 of both the whole lobster and lobster tails
Oh my we did the Wednesday night buffet 7/6/22 opening time waiting time was only 1hour me and wifey ate 8 whole lobsters 8 tails each plus crab legs shrimps worth the 64.00 YES Thank You Palms Casino
Great video. I really liked how you showed everything on each station. I've never done a buffet in Vegas before but this is one I definitely want to try now. Love from 🇬🇧
really liked how you slowly glided over each section and said what the items were. I believe the white harder cookies you tried in the video were a type of wedding cookie.
I say you were able to eat 6 lobsters. Also, on another note, the amount I f tuna in the sushi was very generous. This buffet was definitely a great deal.
Ok, what the main difference between whole Lobster 🦞 and just the tail, other than the claws and more work. The Silverton also had the Lobster buffet on Friday’s but as you know they haven’t reopened it yet from what I understand.
The main difference are the claws. Some folks like to look for eat the meat inside. Not much though. The Silverton has not reopened their buffet or announced any plans to do so.😢 Thank you for watching our videos!
I tried both AYCE lobster at Palms casino Las Vegas $65 and another all you can eat lobster in Chowtaw casino in Durant OKLAHOMA $40. I have to tell you lobsters in Chowtaw casino is better taste and value. You don't need wait 4 hrs to get to the tables at the Palms. in Durant you only need 10 minutes get in line to pay for then get to the tables with plenty of lobsters waiting for you. I only ate once at Palms and waiting time was 4 hrs. I ate numerous times at Chowtaw casino and don't forget $5 discount with player cards. The lobster buffet at Chowtaw casino goes with prime ribs too, which the Palms is lacking.
Thank you, TDO. I don’t doubt there are buffets outside of Vegas that offer good deals. I do appreciate your sharing. Right now our channel focuses on exploring Las Vegas. I will say if you are in Las Vegas and you want all-you-can-eat whole lobster and lobster tails, the AYCE buffet at the Palms is the only place in town which is the main reason the lines are so long. Comparing to most buffets in Las Vegas, the Palms gives you an excellent value. Thank you for sharing with us the buffet in Oklahoma. I hope I can visit it someday as it sounds amazing! Thank you for watching our videos!
Dude, you know what Anthony Bourdain said about buffets? With the post-covid buffets no longer being lost leaders, and having to be profit centers, this AYCE buffet fits that model perfectly... Many of the dishes look like they were made with the weeks leftovers from the other restaurants or came out of a frozen bag and reheated... however, the 'revival' section does appear to be standout and I would try all of it... For Keto/low carb folks, the dessert section is a nogo... For a $60 lobster buffet, I expect you'd have to eat at least 6 lobsters to get near your money's worth... (I'd eat 3 whole, and 1 lobster tail)... WHAT WAS THE TIME LIMIT??? I ask because that is another clear strategy at places like $80-$100 bacchanal buffet (they offer lobster too), where the 90 min limit and the items designed to take 15-30 minutes to eat chew up your ability to get your money's worth...
The food was fresh. The time limit was 2 hours. The Bacchanal offers cold lobster claws, but this buffet offers steam whole lobster and steamed lobster tails. Most restaurants in Vegas charge more than $65 to get one lobster. Your plan to eat 3 whole lobsters and 1 tail is a good plan!
That buffet is well worth $65 if that's the cost. I saw that price mentioned. I am sure I could handle 2 lobsters only because I need room for the other yummy stuff. Half pound of shrimp cocktail for sure. Some of that brisket too.
Yes, prices are always subject to change, but it was $65 when we went and it is currently advertised as $65. The shrimp cocktail was yummy and so were the lobsters. The brisket was out of the world. I don’t think many would realize because everyone is focused on the lobsters. Thank you for watching!
$65 for the lobster buffet is definitely worth it not to mention other varieties of delicious food. As for buffet I would at least have 2 whole lobsters and 2 lobsters tail and some crab legs and save roommy for other dishes as well 😂 👍👍👍👍
No one comment about the quality of the lobster. They should be the same as their California San Manuel casino that offers the same lobster buffet for the same price. I was there a few time when they were charging $38. They were all over-cooked but still OK. I plan on going there this coming Wednesday because they offer me $75 food credit, $125 gambling credit and three free hotel nights.
We had a restaurant here called Frank and Charlie’s. They used to have all you can eat lobster on Wednesday nights for $39.99. My record was 7 full size tails. Restaurants record was 13 by someone.
My husband, daughter and myself ate at the seafood buffet today. I was disappointed at the lobster. The whole lobster was tough and didn’t have a very good flavor. The lobster tail was tender, but quite small. Melted butter is poured into a cold bowl, so was not warm. I really did enjoy the sliced top sirloin. Very good flavor and tender. Desserts were also plentiful and tasty. After we finished and left, I asked my husband and daughter if they would want to eat this buffet again. There reply was probably not.
I didn't even knows Palms reopened. Glad they reopened the buffet. Seems most places are only doing a weak brunch if anything. I would do 2-3 tails, no whole lobster
i'd have 2 whole lobsters of that size.. and 3 lobster tails. That would stuff me to the hilt. And there's so many beautiful other items. Its a fantastic lay out!! The Palms does a GREAT JOB!
10 lobster tails for sure, and then hopefully 5 whole lobsters. I hate to waste anything so I’d be there a while and get every piece of meat in there. It’s not JUST about the tail folks. Eat those brains too! The best part!
Great question. Depends on what is most important. The Bacchanal is the biggest and most expensive. It offers a little bit of nearly every type of cuisine. The Wynn is a nice buffet, but not quite as big as the Bacchanal. The Palms is smaller, but it’s half the price most nights. If you want lobster, the Palms on Wednesday is the way to go. No other buffet gives whole lobster and good quality tails like Palms. I’d go to the Palms more often than not because they offer crab legs and peeled shrimp everyday. Their other items are fresh and kept warm.
