Ok so to keep it 100 you live in a trumpville area and as a Black woman you don’t necessarily trust your surroundings. I live in GA so I get it. You should absolutely be somewhere that you feel secure and enjoy your surroundings. Life is too short. You are essentially free right now and so when life gets back to something like normal i would definitely say take a trip somewhere and you might find somewhere else that you like where you can get a job and see more of us where you live...I really enjoy this video with you just talking and being you.

Introvert? Recluse? Subscribed 😂 love seeing what other introverts are up to (although, generally, it's not much lol). Maybe do a get to know me type video...enjoyed the vibes in this one, you seem very down to Earth. And as far as small town/city, I was born, raised, and currently still living in one 😅 it's definitely not too fun, especially if you've lived in a place like Cali...I always wonder why people CHOOSE to come to places like where I live lol. But as an introvert/socially awkward human being, I avoid people anyways, so I just try to focus on things I enjoy/am interested in learning (just bought some rollerskates and am hoping I don't break my ankle 🤞🏻). But, I can also see why going outside doesn't seem appealing in a small town in Texas, though...I live in Arizona with an army base within the city I live, so there's a pretty mixed bag as far as ethnicity, political affiliations, etc. which makes me feel more comfortable in my surroundings enough to go outside for a hike or something I enjoy.

Photography is great but id suggest a hobby that you can do in the house with your situation. Maybe fashion design, sewing, painting, making jewelry, writing a fiction book, or learn how to play an instrument. Also im in Maryland and I love the calming effect of delta 8 it doesn’t give me anxiety like delta 9, but it gives me migraines if I smoke too much 😂

I totally felt you on this. I lived in a small city in Texas away from my family. I was so depressed at first. But I joined a community center to do Zumba, joined meetups to meet other people, and enjoy my relaxing time alone by improving home decor and video games. It’s not perfect but finding happiness in what you enjoy alone and with others takes time. I hope you find purpose and joy soon! Also hate those who don’t wash! That’s part of the experience!

California hella expensive I’m moving from ca soon

Your located in Texas ? I’ve been in a small town in the panhandle of Texas for three months now and this town is boring asf lol. I mostly work so on the days off I be tired to even try to see what’s going on outside. But I try to stay busy with RU-vid and other things that I do . And I keep a routine going so I don’t start missing everyone .

I live away from my family. I from Long Beach, CA but I moved with my boyfriend (now husband) to Lilburn, GA in 2013. Atlanta isn't far away, but I don't get to the city much because we have a 2 and 4 yr old boys, (we found it's cheaper for me to be home with them than put them in daycare) so I've been home for almost 3 years. It's hard making friends when you're an adult (plus I have the boys), so I haven't met anyone to hang out with really. I go back home at least 2x a year, though. I'm like you, where I want to move back to CA, but the cost is what keeps us here. People tell me to join a meetup group, but I don't trust strangers to watch my boys when I'm out, so that's going to have to wait until they are both in school lol. I'm an introvert, too, but I feel like I went out a lot more back home than what I've done over the last few years and it gets me down, but I try to take it one day at a time. I'm glad you have this channel as an outlet, though. I love your videos! Even if you think it may be a pointless one lol. I'm definitely okay with the smoking - I partake myself most evenings after the boys go to bed, because they are a lot and I need to unwind lol. Congratulations on 1 year loc'd!! Same w my diy retwists not lasting long haha. But on the whole FOMO thing, i mean i'm 18 and live in London but used to rly struggle w feeling like i should be doing more w my youth/teen years and it made me pretty unhappy and this was pre-covid. Lately i realised that as long as you find ways to stay entertained, however that looks, that it doesn't matter what other ppl ur age are doing or what u feel u 'should' be doing and stuff. Idk, hope that helps xo

Girl you have to get out, I had to tell myself the same thing. My mom kinda woke me up to understanding that. I'm the same, come home lay on the couch and watch TV. People at work (hanging out) can definitely be awkward but some of them are really good cool people. You just have to get to know them there first. I work with a lot of people so it's kinda hard not to hang with them if I want to get out. I only hang with about 4 of them out of 100 lol so give it a try and see if you vibe with them outside if not....🤷🏽‍♀️ you tried. Good luck girl.
