If you guys didn’t know, LOC method is for high porosity hair because they are able to absorb the moisture easier and get better results from it, on the other hand LCO method is for low porosity hair because it has trouble absorbing moisture so it would have to put the oil last to seal in the moisture. I haven't noticed any real difference on my own hair with LOC or LCO so I just go with LOC because I really like my hair soaking up the black castor oil that I use for O

It’s was ALWAYS LCO people were to slow to understand the letters were switched to make it easier to remember aka LOC. It’s easier to say. Wasn’t supposed to be literal 🙃🤦🏾‍♀️

I can actually see the difference for her the loc method is better for her more smooth the lco was more bumpy rougher in my Opinion and the loc method for her was more longated

LC is the one that ever worked for my hair ,I don't know why. Everytime I add 'O' no matter what method my hair becomes so hard

Yea makes sense because oil Is sealant . My hair has been dry since doing henna treatments 😞 but there is growth 😊 but t hair fall too because of the dryness 🥴🤣

This is an old post… but when I do henna ( I mix in a bowel henna… Alma … Fengreek and other Indian herbs in a bowel and let it sit on my hair over night with a shower cap.) I wash it out in the morning then I always follow up with deep conditioner for 30 minutes with heat) then wash the out the deep conditioner and my hair is extremely soft. Then I do the LCO method and put it in braids…my hair was falling out even when I touched my hair a little bit . My hair would break off . It was like that first two years. I did the big chop thinking it would help but my ends still kept falling off for over 2 years. Now I been using Henna followed by deep conditioner and my hair is so strong and getting extremely thicker. Im retaining length

For a sealant lol butter dont be working on my hair or oil lol i have to put jamaican black castor oil butter or petroleum to lock in the moisture it will get dry a day later or two lol 😂
