@@tonyroy8123 I think you got the wrong end of the stick, I was just pointing out that they usually use butter rather than oil as a base (Currys, buttering bread and yogurt is used for sides as well mixing for nan) for most dishes rather than using! I do understand that a lot of people eat meat. Milk isn't exactly vegan!
hmm you don't know the history. you don't know the truth. Do you even know caste system "Varnashrama" and the damage its doing still to the date. There is tea shop in 12km from where I live still has three glasses for different people. In some places, SC Hindu people are not allowed inside temple and practice this amazing dharma
@@Krat-kar so true caste system ruined hinduism for everyone. I just wished we didn't have a caste system in india then we could've really said the world is one family.
Thanks, Liam and Janine, for accepting the invitation and spending Diwali with us. It is indeed about 'sharing what we have'. You are doing a great job of sharing and spreading love and it really reflects in all your videos. Keep sharing your experiences in India and all over the world. ❤❤
It was a joy to see, Poorva. I've followed Janine and Liam on their travels for awhile now, and so good to see them back in India. As a weekly watcher of their videos, I can say that they were genuinely very happy and felt privileged to be there on such a meaningful occasion. How wonderful of you and your family to invite them into your home to celebrate Divali. Saal Mubarak! 🙏
Thank you so much poorva to you and your family, for following our culture "welcoming guests with smile face and feed foods" (even though enemy also). I feel very proud we are an Indians and still follow our cultures, festivals and tradtions..Thank you so much poorva...😊😊😊
As a South African I can attest that the Indian people here are the warmest most amazing people. The world would be a better place if we could be more like these loving kind hearted souls ❤
True that's why whole world came here ,rule us, invade , looted Dutch, Portuguese, British, French, Muslim invaders Made golden rich country to poor country..
Indians are very proud of their Culture and rightly so . God knows so many invaders have come specifically to destroy their Culture , But we're in 2023 and The Culture is not only still here and flourishing in India but all over the world . Hare Krishna.
I lived in India for 6 months - I adore Indian people and the culture . Back in England I don’t feel the same warmth from English people. Can’t wait to go back to India
I really want to invite people from far away countries and show them our culture and treat them but I live in a very far off small village where the transportation is not good so they'll suffer from the lack of it. It's a very small village.
At 8:47 her mother said in marathi, take number from them next time if they will come to Pune we will invite them again❤️❤️ This is my Maharashtra ❤ this is my India❤❤
As an Indian I feel proud the way at which the boys invited you to their home. Best thing is you both obliged. That kids are the great ambassordors for our nation.
@@ThoseHappyDays It's so nice you still visited the kids house... I can see whole family was ready to host you happily..... Visiting Sudame family must be the planned one....But I am sure this one was not planned., that's why it's look more real and interesting .
I recently converted from Abrahmic religion to Hinduism…. The beautiful part is that no one forced me to do so…. When I learn about Hinduism and Sanatana it opened my eyes…. It’s not religion it’s the way of life 🫶🛕🚩 Also the World's tallest statue is also in India😍😍..... STATUE OF UNITY 🫶🇮🇳🚩
As an Indian living in England - it was always tricky to explain to my British colleagues what is it we miss during Diwali. I am glad some amazing people like you guys are getting to experience it and enjoy it like we do (oh the joy on your faces brings me back to when I was a kid). Maybe I will just show this vid to them next time they ask me "How is diwali back in your country?"
What an incredible experience. Indians truly are a very generous nation. Definitely high on my bucket list of somewhere I would love to travel and spend time in, in the future ❤ Thanks for sharing guys and happy duvali to anyone who celebrates it 🙏💕
Fabulous video! Can't get over how warm and welcoming the Indian people are 😍 The insight into the Hindu culture was wonderful and what a nice family. Janine looked gorgeous in her sari💃Thankyou both ❤
The Indian notion of divinity does not equate God as some singular humanoid entity, exclusively male, exclusively humanoid, and having an affinity for some specific species, planet, race, culture, or geographical region. It is akin to Einstein's equation E = M (divine energy manifesting as everything), hence the reverence toward male, female forces of nature, mountains, rivers, stars, living, non-living entities, permeating all creation. It is both monotheistic & polytheistic - the underlying homogeneous energy field or consciousness expressing itself as the heterogeneous reality we perceive. It is not all that different from certain interpretations of Judaism & Christianity, such as that of Baruch Spinoza...just depends on which interpretation you follow, and all religions can have a common thread. Based on the above, such a notion translates as everything emanating from the same common source - the world/cosmos is one family.
Those young boys were so friendly. In some places you would be suspicious that they had the intention of scamming you in some way but just about everyone you’ve met in India seem so genuine and welcoming.
There are good and bad people in every community. Not everyone is out to scam a foreigner in India. I know those scam callers from India are famous for the bad stuff, but we hate them too, and i hope our government would do something to crack those down. Peace!😃
Indians respect everyone because Hindu are the majority. We never attack other countries and never say to change their religion. We Hindu respect everyone's culture and religion.
What beautiful traditions, thank you both for sharing your wonderful adventures in India. You have shown us so much more than most travel vloggers, with an insight into the culture from a non tourist perspective. Such warm, wonderful people show what’s really important in life, human kindness.
Now that's what a perfect Diwali celebration is I have seen many foreigners in vlogs wandering around during Diwali not knowing how to celebrate such a auspicious festival I'm very happy that you celebrated Diwali in it's meaning Thank You to the kind Family!! Proud of being from Pune !!
THANKS FOR VISITING MY MOTHER INDIA 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️....Proud proud lucky to be breathing this mother indian air ... blessed for being Indian....Love u happy days Chanel from Bangalore
Wow! The hospitality of the Indian people, both on this trip and your last just blows me away. What a wonderful culture, I’m loving your journey and Janine you were rocking that Sari 🥻 beautiful xx
And who would believe that their ancestor's looted India for 200 years after being welcomed in a similar fashion. As Indian, I really feel proud of ourselves to let go of things and heal and yet seek towards mainitaing the world as a family together ❤🎉.
Usually, Indians will be thrilled if guests visit them during festivities. Good or bad, Indians have many important festivals, and it's time all come together for feast and enjoyment. Indians will be happier to host foreigners, be it the Philippines people or Philadelphia people. They want guests, no colour and a regional bar. Thanks to the foreigners who visited a local on Diwali day. Great job, brother
Fantastic!!! The people of India are so warm and welcoming. The children in the street were so friendly and interested in you both and taking you home to meet their family was so sweet. What a lovely family who invited you to their home on their special celebration of Diwali. This vlog was so uplifting and filled with love. What a great time you are having in India.. just so good to see these vlogs on a Sunday morning. All the beat Liam and Janine ❤❤
How lovely was that, such friendly people, thank you both once again for making this so interesting and giving us an insight into another culture, we miss out so much in the west. Onwards to the next adventure you two, stay safe and look after each other xx
Even after so much of violence faced by Indians from Britishers for over 300yrs, we still respect British People and we feel all are equal and belongs to same family.... vasudaiva kutumbakam.....
For us this has to be up there with one of your best videos. It's left us feeling like we just celebrated Diwali with you. We too have hope that an open hearted kindness approach will prevail in this world.
Those simple kids who wanted to wait to meet you, won my heart. Indians are one of the kindest, simple, peaceloving people. So proud of being an Indian.
hi Liam and Janine. I am blown away by your gentle and genuine attitude to life. You both ooze such much wisdom. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us. Hugs 🍀🍀😺😺🇮🇪🇮🇪💚💚🍀🍀
Thanks to the youtube algorithm came across this happiness packed video. Loads of positve comments here about the Indian hospitality. I think it is the vibe this very open minded british couple are sending out that is drawing people to them. I wish Liam and Janine a very happy time ahead like I am sure many viewers are.
@@JG-qy6fe Bro indians are fu$king rich They have 3rd largest billionaire just behind china and US They are soon going to be 3rd largest economy by 2025 It's just that there are poor and rich but bbc only focuses on poorest side
The Morgan issue which will resolve itself has a silver lining , it seems that it pushed you into travelling back to india which is a blessing. Your cinematography has come on leaps and bounds, I'm loving your story telling and sharing your inspirational experiences. I wait all week to watch you and dare I say Camper Vibes uploads on Sundays. Have a safe ongoing journey.

So good to see you both smiling and enjoying your adventure, and great to share how wonderful and giving India is, those children were amazing, so confident and giving.
Wow, what a video, will have to watch it a few times to take it all in. The children were great, and the family you who invited you into their home were outstanding, pure love, the world needs more people like them. You lucky couple. x
This intimate view of Diwali ❤ was amazing! Thank you for sharing this with us. The precocious children along with the festivities made this installment extra special 🎉🎆🎇. The family you spent time with were absolutely fabulous for opening their home and hearts to you. Well done all ❤
Extremely emotional video. The enjoyment both of them had says how the world is one and we are all connected. This is Hinduism, a way of life. Be yourself and genuinely care for others. Your laughter and fun says it all!!!!
India is such an amazing place with beautiful caring people the children were fantastic , I want to move there. Thank you both for sharing this wonderful blog Janie looked gorgeous in her sari 🥻 my favourite dress. ❤❤
Come, Visit Mother India.. We Hindus/Sanatanis love the world.. We treat guests as Gods, I mean Literally. When you visit our home, we consider you Our God. Athidhi Devo Bhava.. Love, Happiness and Peace to you and your loved ones.. Happy Christmas..
Fantastic! Congratulations on your first family Dewali. I love celebrations like that, especially with local people, except for the noise. I would have needed earplugs for sure. In my home growing up, Christmas was the time my parents invited single people that my dad worked with, who were away from their homes, to join us. It was wonderful and taught me the importance of community, hospitality and inclusion.
Come, Visit Mother India.. We Hindus/Sanatanis love the world.. We treat guests as Gods, I mean Literally. When you visit our home, we consider you Our God. Athidhi Devo Bhava.. Google it.. Love, Happiness and Peace to you and your loved ones..
Indian people are very friendly loving and hospitable and generous to all people. So glad to met some beautiful people who invited you to their home for Divali
Beautiful!!. What a privileged and deserved couple you are. Getting the opportunity to meet such beautiful people inviting you into their lives and celebrations.Absolutely fabulous. Instils a bit of faith in humanity in this currently not so good world
What a truly lovely family...many blessings to them for sharing their home and the whole Diwali experience with you both. Great video...and shows how "WOKE" blinded and blinkered the UK/USA the west actually is ...No Heath & Safety WOKIES to ruin everything for them. Life should ALL be about family...community....sharing....caring ..peace....blessings...and unity.....just the way the whole world should be x
Our Supreme Court is full of Wokies and Lefties. They actually passed a judgement banning Fire Crackers in the country just before Diwali and the Hindus just spat en masse on the biased and anti-hindu m0r0ns.. We are right wing but a good bunch who are not violent.. We are Sanatanis/Hindus.. We love everyone. We believe the world is a big family.. Vasudaiva Kutumbakam. Love and Peace.
Actually there r too many fake environmental & animal caring activists rise everywhere in india too on diwali every year, specially on social media. Infact fire crackers are banned on diwali in several states bcoz of this.
Well, this was your best video EVER! Thank you so much for taking us all along with you. What a fantastic experience and what an amazing family to share it with. The children just made the video complete 😍. Janine looked beautiful in her Sari. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️🇬🇧
Positivity, positivity and so much positivity! The entire video, i had tears in my eyes! The kids, how entire family of kids and then Saree and stuff and the way Poorva's family treated you as if you are part of their family! So so heartwarming and filled my heart with immense pride! Cried throughout the video. The editing of this video is fabulous too!
@@ThoseHappyDays you guys are just amazing! Humility is what stands out for you both! That's why there is a natural connection with you in India I guess
How wonderful to be invited to the festival in a family home. Your outfits look amazing. Janine you look stunning in pink, and Liam, blue is definitely your colour. How kind of them to go to the effort to make you vegan food and drinks too. Happy Diwali to all. It makes a change for you to stay in one place for a few days. I'm sure it helps you feel a little less stressed about Morgan. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and happy travels. xx
So happy you enjoyed this wonderful festival. Many extremely happy memories of living in Fiji and experiencing the happiness, madness and friendship shown to us by our Fijian-Indian neighbours during this festival of light (not to mention the huge cache of real fireworks bought at local stores to celebrate - happy days).
