Great little explore Lucy. If I had the money I would renovate and make them available to people and families that need a good space in which to heal. No money in it but that's not the point. Well, always dig a bench to soup up on. Mark
Cheers Mark! Glad you enjoyed the video! Oh yeah that is a good idea! Would be such a good thing to do and would help so many people! I hope you're well :)
Ay-up! What a wonderful village, love it! Wonder what grade of listed some of those buildings would be!? Bit of a homes under the hammer Notts lass style! Going once, going twice....ay-up SOLD! Brilliant video, love the commentary and chemistry, great stuff. Love a good snoop around a village, wondering and dreaming....never say never! ❤☕🤗 great to see you out and about and having such a jolly food time too, all the very best, Ceri and Kat ❤🤗🤗

@@TheNottmLass we are like thales not so called crusaders if walking atm, we move by the cover if darkness protecting Gotham....I mean getting some nice local miles in. Trying some different odds and sods atm, Kat did a DVD yoga lesson yesterday and tonight we have been out in the rain for a stretch of the legs too. Hopefully find an excuse to get the camera out before to long. All the best, Ceri and Kat ❤🤗👍
Great video Lucy. Great chance to try out those Christmas presents and start to earn the flying miles on the drone. Will soon be earning your Captain’s stripes 😀
Cheers Anthony! Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah - absolutely! I love them all so much and they have become a great asset in my video production! :D Ooooo can't wait :D x
Lovely walk, question..... Are you now, the Nott'm Lass, captain Nott'm Lass or "the lost girl" 😜 jetboil mate 👌 can't go far wrong with that... Lovely drone shots, certainly adds to the movie, take care, Dave 👍 x
Cheers Dave! Hmmmm well that is a very good question and I really don't know how to answer :') I'll let you be the judge :D Thank you - still learning how to use it but it really is pretty straightforward! Thanks for watching xxx
Good to see you both enjoying a wa drink in the cold. It does make a big difference. I think more people than before are braving the cold temperatures in an effort to stay active (and sane) through all that is ongoing. Thanks for sharing and all the best.
Thank you so much Olly! Yeah - well I get way too cold so quickly! It makes me so moody so I need to a hot drink to keep warm and happy lmao! I hope you're well xxx
Unbelievable those houses have not been developed, unless they have ran out of money, they do look really nice mind and real good to see they have not been vandalised. Must admit I do love exploring old churches and graveyards and good to see you getting the drone out. Soup and cookies looked nice, as did the walk, very enjoyable watch, cheers Alan
It's crazy isn't it! Hopefully they will get developed one day - they would be amazing! Yeah - it's so fun to explore and find places! The drone is so cool! Thank you so much for watching Alan! It's always good to see you in the comment section xx
Great content! The Almshouses are still undeveloped unfortunately, but the Old School House now has a new bell tower on top! There's other great walks around here too, there's a footpath going up the lane next to Church Cottage which brings you our into fields, and you can do nice walks out to Swingate (with the old victorian water tower) or Strelley Hall, or loop back round to the canal via some nice woodlands. Or walk further along the Canal to get to Bennerley Viaduct, a massive victorian viaduct and one of only two left in the country! Definitely come back in the summer one day!
Ay-up Sean! I hope you’re well! I completely missed this comment so I do apologise! I am so glad you enjoy my content - really appreciate that! Oh wow - that sounds amazing! I’ll have to screenshot that and defo go on it! Really does sound good! 💚💚
Yeah - I had never even heard of the place until Debz mentioned it! I am really looking forward to your video later! Ahha hahah me too mate! Thanks for watching x
Yes I was up here last year nice area. The road going through gets busy though. Nice walks along the canal though 👌 wasn't that green in summer. I walked a circular around and parked in carpark up near canal.
Oh nice one! I really wasn't expecting it to be so beautiful! Yeah - we had trouble parking and it's soooo narrow! I defo want to go back there in the summer. I can imagine it is very different! Stay safe xxx
I was waiting for this one 😀 I used to go in thar house every other week it’s massive inside With all this stuff your carrying about with you now you will have to get a bigger bag Really enjoyed the video Stay safe 😀
Hahaha I knew you were! Which house are you talking about? The houses at the very start or Church Cottage? I would live there if I could - so damn cute! I am hoping to do an equipment video soon - then you'll know how much I really do carry! Glad you enjoyed it and I hope you're well xxx
@@TheNottmLass The house where D H Lawrence fiancé lived and the book rainbow My grandma used to live in the village when she was younger just around the corner from there she could of had the chance to live in one of the row of houses for just 3 thousand at the time but didn’t take it that was a long long time ago though Did you see the comment on Anthony’s video the other week I think it’s game on young lady 😉 Stay safe 😀
I live in Awsworth, about a mile from there. The almshouses always turn my head when I drive through Cossall and it's a shame they're just sitting there idle. Apparently the staircases and ceilings are too low for modern habitation, so they cannot be lived in. There's talk of them being developed in some way though. It would sure nice to see them used in some way, shape, or form.
I’ve never crashed or lost a DJI drone in 4 years of flying them. As long as you build your confidence slowly, trust in the tech, plan your flights and be observant for things like trees, overhead cables & power lines, and never take any risks you’ll get years of enjoyment out of your Mini2. I’ll just add that if you activate your “#” grid lines and turn on the Histogram, you’ll be better able to frame your shots and gauge the correct exposure. When it’s bright outside, you often can’t tell on a small phone screen if your shots look right👌
I am hoping to be like you with this drone! (you know what i've been like with the old ones I have but lets not think about those days) :') Yeah I agree. I think it's so easy to get ahead of yourself when it comes to flying. Just take small steps. I don't fly it for long when I am out because it's way too cold at the moment! :') Thank you for the advice! I will be putting that to use on my next flight! xxx
