I can’t drink coke. Something in it cause me to have gastrointestinal problems. I really don’t drink any kind of soda, just water, sparkling water and non sugar hot tea.

Yea, having coffee or water everyday and then a tiny soda of someting i like but just weird feeling after not drinking soda so much as before. but really try limit sugar anytime.

I stopped drinking soda when I was 18 I am now 28 and I feel wierd drinking soda like my body just perfers that refreshing H2O

Here in India there was a massive campaign against all types of colas - calling them toilet cleaners. since then, the sales have remained subdued. I never drank any cola for years.

These ppl have a culture with “natural juices or dairy products” too, don’t be so small minded, if it happened there it can happen in India too. most privatewater companies dont just get water for free they make up some outrageous claim their water is cleaner and stack high prices on it to get more water. america is willing to pay high prices for water because we have more money to spend. if they were to supply more water to mexico from their smart water the price of the water would be higher and more people would be less likely to buy it than no water.

@@josue_dlls And that's part of what seems strange here. It seems like Coca-Cola could legally (not ethically, but still legally) take that water and then just sell it back to the town. This would be a cycle of strong arming them over water, but even that seems preferable to taking the water, then spending more money to make it into cola, and then cause a drought (which can easily lead to famine too) while simultaneously sabotaging the health of the town's population via their product. It just seems like both are evil things, but they're going with the greater evil that seems like it would make less money than the option of just selling the water back at an inflated price to reflect demand under the "Smart Water" label.

Smart water is expensive. You can probably buy 3 bottles of coke for the same price. Nothing smart about it though.. Its an overrated distilled mineralized water.

If they moved these places to impoverished places in the Midwest like West Virginia, Ohio, and western NY it would help coal mining communities get back on their feet!

Well, even if we don't drink they will still do it. It's like the case of Hershey's chocolate supply that mainly comes from Ivory Coast (and other underdeveloped countries). This chocolate is harvested by kids who are often slaves (literally). I think the solution is to raise awareness about these issues and legally pressure these companies to stop it.

PBS here in the states did a incredible facted base report on a program called " FRONTLINE " It showed that Nestlé corporation is attempting to corner the free world water market . It continues to uses deceptive tactics to steal long term water rights here in the USA . This has been occurring in and around the North East area of the US ,as well as other countries . But China is VERY MUCH on the march it's very very scary . If China gets control of small , medium or large streams , lakes or rivers . They can control agriculture, water quality, and water dependent industries as well as mineral rights. This must become illegal here in any part of the USA by any foreign nation. Also a PBS ( "so cal" ) did a scathingly honest documentary on : San Jauquin water rites here in California. The incredible corruption a individual persons has if he is awarded the contract by the state It's highly profitable to whomever control these rights. Meanwhile others community can't get running water. It's all legal but very very corrupt. 40 % of water usage in California goes to agriculture, 50 % is used for environmental, The remaining 10% is "urban use" . This according to California water management 2020 report. Water is the new gold . The Bush family ( George) and friends bought a very large ranch which just happened to be on the second largest aquifer in the world .It's called "Guarani Aquifer " which spans Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and the southern parts of Brazil .The Bushes just happen to invested in 40 % of South America aquifer they claim they weren't aware 😳 Meanwhile, all four countries are fighting concerning commercial use .This information/artical was in Business Weekly ,then covered by Forbes magazine . I think the " Economist" published this information first . All I can recall, concerning when it appeared is : 3 to 4 years ago . I'm sorry I can't remember precisely when . So that's all I know. I'm glad I'm old . I won't have to suffer with greed , thrist , scarcity , lack and fear . Unfortunately I've lost my faith in humanity .I feel very sorry for the new babies and the youth of today 😞 What a corrupt world we live in .

Real eye opening and a preview of corporations owning life's necessities or at least using them for profits till there's no more. Also look up the big Bush land grab in south America. The Bush dynasty bought hundred's of thousands of acres of land because it sits on one of the biggest fresh water aquafers.
