Locals Only Spot Exposed! Kenai River Trout and Salmon Fishing Soldotna Alaska 2022 

On this day out with ‪@alaskasmallcraftadventures‬ we trip down to a locals spot called" College Hole" in search of Sockeye Salmon on the Kenai River in Soldotna Alaska. This spot connects to the Russian River and chances of hooking up with a Russian River Sockeye are high! When waiting for the salmon to show up we get hooked up rainbow trout and King Salmon on this beautiful day on the the Kenai River. This video was two days in the making as sometimes its tough to capture all of the beauty in just one trip!
This spot is located behind the Kenai Peninsula College in Soldotna Alaska and is open to the public, yet it's mostly visited by locals. Grab your wading boots and come on down!
