Good to see you both back at loch Awe. Your videos were the first to inspire us to visit (my son and I for a wild camp by inflatable boat, which turned out a bit of a disaster because all the good camping spots were mobbed with people, and then we also had boat issues) But we’ve been back many times since and have even had the wife who’s also from the Philippines out with her paddle board…..while I preferred the dry boat! Will maybe bump into you some day.

What are the midges like in July? I'm staying in Dalavich on the loch with my 6year old and the owner is just telling me that they cant determine if they will have midges in July not very helpful tbh.
Hi Paul.. yes there will be midges. I highly recommend a midge hat and also a product called skin so soft ‘original’ (suppled by AVON) it’s a lovely place and I’m sure you will love it….
