Another great video in beautiful surroundings. I've experienced a couple of tough days paddling an inflatable kayak out in Belfast Lough... one particular paddle that I caufhg on camera had significant wind against tide conditions... anyway, sod that, I've completed my RYA powerboat course 😂 🚤 Thanks again for your down to earth videos. Take care.
Thanks for that Donny, always find new (as if rowing is new) ideas and inspiration in your films. I would never have thought a shallow inflatable would row quite as well over these distances. Opens up whole new possibilities of areas to explore. Look forward to your sail conversion ideas and test.
I Robert..the boats rows well and lee boards in the latest video make it even better for side drift..Im not so good at rowing though ..but getting there :-D

Hi Simon..no..unfortunately I never got back. I moved out the area at the start of the year but camping up the new neck of the woods quite a lot. Thanks for commenting
Hi Howard.. an Umbrella might be more efficient than the rag I used in the latest..but Im still working on it..so enjoy the videos as I tell my lockdown story :-D
Hi Lee..gosh its over 45 years since I tried for Pike. Back then I used to catch wee perch and use them as bait. No idea how things have changed since then..but tight lines and enjoy your day
Hi Steve, Im no expert but I don’t think electric outboards are allowed unless the owner gives permission. Quotes from Access Code with section number in bracket. Access rights cover “canoeing, swimming, rowing, windsurfing, sailing, diving” (2.7) Access right don’t cover “the use of any powered craft on water” (2.14) You will find the full access code at this link www.outdooraccess-scotland.scot/sites/default/files/2018-05/Publication%202005%20-%20Scottish%20Outdoor%20Access%20Code.pdf Hope that helps but best check before hand in case Im wrong

There was Ammunition dump near here during and after WW2 and Loch Ard had an armed patrol boat in case of Seaplanes! Near Callander the US disposed of Mustard gas and other chemical weapons by burning it in the forest. Yay.
Cool info cosybike ..thanks for posting it. I was going to give loch Ard a try this week but went back to Loch Chon.. enjoy it too..as I sing I am Sailing..by Rod Stewart :-D
Thanks Donny, that was a real treat. Brings back good memories of my own paddling on the Trossachs' lochs and rivers many years ago now...Here's a link to a clever sailing/rowing/outboard inflatable: www.dinghygo.com/product/
