I remember that hike a bike , well worth it for the epic view and descent. I need to do it again , 26" wheels were still a thing when i did it last 😂. You got some fantastic weather for it. Graeme.
One of my most favourite routes in Scotland I remember the arm pump lol, a cracking but more technical and longer route is the lochnagar 5, it starts the same but you turn left at the fork in the road you came to just before dropping down to the Loch, the route takes in 5 Hill tops and the end is a massive technical descent that drops down and comes out from behind the Queen's cottage that you cycled past on Loch Muick.
