I have not heard of this distillery yet. I really appreciate the honest review! I do quite enjoy those "clean" ex-bourbon, malt driven whiskies, so I wonder where I'd land on this one. Would definitely like to give it a go sometime. Cheers boys!

The master distiller for Lochlea John Campbell was on Roy’s Aqvavitae stream this week. I’m tasting a lot of young whiskies now, of which this is one. Would like to see some newbies waiting a bit longer, complexity does come with age.

Guys, I was able to get this in MA at Total Wine for $60. For that I'm not unhappy. I'm with Shawn on notes but tasting more orange. Agree with Drew that it just needs more time.

Great video as always fellas! Can I recommend the next review bottle?? The Dalmore 12 Sherry Select Casks It runs about $75 depending on where your located and its a very debatable dram. Is it better than the original 12 year?? Does it have more depth than the Dalmore 15yr??? Also, I’ve checked the website and can’t find the coin collection? Are you guys all sold out? If so, will you be getting anymore produce??? Love you guy’s! Mark! My guy! When you get a moment email me back 😂… it’s been a minute

Seems overpriced. New distilleries are trying to keep up with the market, but they have to establish themselves before asking the same prices as an already established and proven distillery.

It does not work that way. These new much smaller distilleries are doing it the craft way and do not have the economies of scale of the big established distilleries!
