Here's my review of the Tranformers Adventure TAV15 Lockdown, a beautiful repaint of the Transformers Animated Lockdown Deluxe Class figure. I love how Bulkhead and Lockdown are now iconic characters despite having originated in a kid's show. Says a lot about how good this show's writing was.

Heck I didn't even knew Lockdown was an OriginalCharacter from the show. Same goes with Bulkhead,the Animated is where I saw Bulkhead for the first time. Bulkhead is my favourite

@@rainedans8684 The show's artstyle was strayed too far from the transformer aesthetic to me. However i do admit Lockdown was a memorable villain. The way Lockdown straight up killed Ratchet in Age of Extinction was dark, though. They were equal enemies in the animated series but in the movie adaptation, Lockdown outsmarted Ratchet. It's like the lowkey conclusion of the storyarc, where the villain won.

Now that you have mentioned about the lack of third party figures for animated, it makes question why there are no third party figure of tfp predaking, I mean the design was pretty awesome.

Man I remember The Animated series. That was my shit. Inused to have Bumblebee, Ratchet, Blackarachnia, Lockdown, Prowl, and a mini Bulkhead. Prowl was my absolute favorite. Sadly I gave them all away years ago when I wasnt into the series anymore only to realize now I should've never done it

hey Jobby :) I recently found you and am really LOVING all your reviews :P I saw you asked about 3P animated figures, and, while this may not be what you were looking for (and who knows maybe someone already mentioned this) BUT a company called Mech Ideas made the "Techno Toon Titans" Bluster and Trench. Their versions of Huffer and Pipes from Animated. I'd say check it out if thats what you're into, but I just wanted to mention :) love the videos, and all that Jazz, and yeah.......... :)

I got it for $19 on Amazon. This is larger than a voyager in robot mode, and from Japan, so I could justify the slightly higher than Deluxe price.

Best deluxe class figure ever released IMO. I love his badass nostalgic 1960s hot rod with a futuristic twist vehicle mode, but his real strength is in his robot mode. I can't believe that Hasbro managed to fit such a huge robot into a deluxe class figure. Lockdown is taller than most voyager class figures, and his transformation is simple yet fun. Just a great, great figure; which belongs in every Transformers fan's collection.

In the japanese adventures app you can scan these symbols on the takara figures, the main difference is between takara's en hasbro's version is that is no game in the japanese version. the symbols only function for a digital checklist of the figs you have in the line.
