@@hukumbra I don't decide who will be born, nature decides, but with today's technology people decide who will be born, technology is getting out of control we have to admit it
There are just so many things in this video I could make fun of Lockheed for, but it probably better for me to shut up before they drop one of their "integrated solutions" over my head. 😂 (I am kidding pls don't)
Should have been more careful with that phrase. Space is OK, makes sense, but time... - We just received your report on some problems. - But I sent it months ago!
Great designs ARE timeless! I am so proud of what LM has done, and I doubt anything inanimate will ever impress me has much as 'have blue", F-117A, and now that I am retired (for now) I hope o assemble the model I have been holding for decades. Even though the yellow cockpit canopy is an insult to you, in my opinion. God bless LM and America! :)+ I am quite a night hawk myself!
@@cancelanime1507 because they kill whoever they think is the 'bad guy'. Have you ever heard the term 'collateral damage'? They killed a lot of civilians, and destabilized the middle east, so that those poor people living in war ravaged areas remember the times when dictators rule as good times... War is horrible. To see it as 'good guys' vs 'bad guys' is very childish. Just remember. Where there is war, there are innocent people dying, people going hungry and women being raped. It's part of every war. Those who glorify it, are either stupid or want to make money off it, like the US defence industry.
I agree, and I don’t see it being that far off; our great ape instincts must begin to include all humans into the family. It is only logical. There is only one of us here.
Good shot at optimistic futurism here, though I bet you still design everything on non-holographic Windows and MacOS. But you have a great future, if you look beyond just more ways to kill stuff.
With all the amazing things that Lockheed does, why do they have to resort to this B sci-fi movie crap. Show the actual engineers doing actual engineering; that would be amazing.
The goal is to start off at almost stupid sounding inventions and working your way up success and new horizons. Just look at the first recorder or first radio and how we improved now days. May the future be a bright and successful one!
I've been working for Lockheed 35 years. Excellent company. To all the snowflakes complaining about the weapons we build. You're welcome . Now grow up!
LM is a company that has delivered many pieces of excellent engineering and advanced technology.Wish they would mass-produce something innovative for civilians too.
Innovation and cooperation can lead to an overwhelmingly positive abundance of designer future plus profits maximization . In time the future is coming faster than we all intelligent machine side by side happiness is possible .
First you go to school. Learn math, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Mechanics, Aerodynamics. Then you forget EVERYTHING about Economics. and Bingo, you can apply.
Press A + I on your computer, it will create the design, do the stress , load , force etc . calculations. Then do the setup for parts on CNC’s , make the program , run the machines , check the quality on CMM . Do the assemblies, test runs . All you need folks is just press A+I on the screen which is showed in the Vedio .
I hate this insanely bad idea of holographic UI. Imagine how tired your hands would be, if you really had to use that 3D and holograms! Somewhat reminds me how in early 2000s Microsoft was all for voice control everywhere, in every application, I was like "Really? Are you mad? How do you imagine work in an office, where _everyone_ is trying to speak with computer!" Sure, for demonstrations, review and _some_ works holograms are fine, just not for the bulk of work. P.S. Also, this "better future" part somehow reminds me both Vault Tec ads from Fallout universe and Weyland-Yutani ("Building better worlds.") from Aliens, not exactly corporations one would love to be associated with. XD Add movies "Oblivion" with Tom Cruise and "Elysium" with Jodie Foster (both 2013) to the list of movies this causes some associations.
+VIDURA JAYAWARDENE Maybe, common, I'm a fan of hard sci-fi, but since I make my living working with CAD software and blueprints, it's not like I'm talking completely out of my ass. Of course visualization is useful, recently we have used 3D printed models to test dimensions before ordering whole bunch of extruded aluminium profiles, but applying 3D _everywhere_ does not make sense - every tool has it's place, so you need all kinds of them, or else "when all you got is a hammer, everything looks like nails". Besides, it was not my intention to sound too harsh, after all, I've been subscribed to this channel for years. It's just that my first three languages are irony, sarcasm and cynicism, since I'm a European. XD And... LM makes nice products, while those PR videos obviously are not one of them.
Would it be any worse than writing on a whiteboard or a chalkboard a lot? Also, yes, Lockheed Martin is like a real life cyberpunk movie company lol. In the first Iron Man movie Stark Industries was obviously modeled after LM, Stark's logo looks similar to LM, and they even a Lockheed F-22 on display in front of the office building lol.
+Helium Road You know, whiteboard / blackboard is a pretty good analogy, thank you! And there is reason why we don't use them unless necessary, isn't it? Same with good old drafting boards - people were happy to leave them behind and switch to CAD.
The Australian Hunter class frigate will be a challenge. The SAAB CEAFAR2 radar with AEGIS and some Zumwalt tech so all missles are available. But Lockheed does enjoy a challenge. Just like me. I'm still undefeated. 😂😂😂😈😈😈
“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some 50 miles of concrete highway. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. This, I repeat, is the best way of life to be found on the road the world has been taking. This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.” - Dwight Eisenhower
Plot twist: The people that matter the most at Lockheed Martin are those nerds who did not have the time to take care of their physique because they've embedded their lives into the nitty gritty of design and engineering. Their days are spent buried at their desk, hammering on the keyboard and not swiping in the air like a dummy as if they were Tony Stark. They don't look like the cast of a teen movie. They are mostly pale old white dudes. Mostly. And they care more about the science than the diversity of Captain Planet.
