Lock doing his thing, I already know. Lazarus got my attention. Anyone that can keep up with Locksmith like that deserves more light. I'll be looking up his stuff.
his RU-vid: ru-vid.com/show-UCBl2tOeRn9f6fun70Afl_ww his Spotify: open.spotify.com/artist/5KZfRaQHfjizCZsoRV9vqA Hard copies of his stuff can be found on Amazon etc. If anyone can help me find where I can purchase lossless downloads of his stuff, I would greatly appreciate it.
Bars and multisyllabic flow all day. I haven't heard a back and forth mic trade off like that in a while. Locksmith and Lazarus with that 🔥 energy on the mic!
The beat, the murderous lyricism with that effortless delivery like its nothing. A freaking banger. 100%. I ask why everyday...why aren't artists like these being mentioned in all platforms. Props as always
Because Locksmith is independent, so there's no financial incentive for people to advertise him. Just gotta hope that he gets some extra shine from more well known rappers mentioning his name so that the average hiphop fan will listen to his stuff.
Honestly I agree with you but I feel like it's better that they don't get mentioned because a lot of the good rappers who do get mentioned they get bigger and eventually get worse but locksmith has been solid through his whole career I wouldn't want that to end cuz when I'm looking for good music I'm going to locksmith. My most listened to artist on Spotify in 2020 was locksmith my most listened to album in 2020 was locksmiths, people do sleep on LOCK but you know what I think it keeps him a better artist.
Because it's not easy to sell. For people to be interested in this, they must use their brain.. think.. disect. Most of listeners don't think along.. Mumble rap doesn't require any understanding, therefore, easy to sell to masses. Nice melody, no message.
@@daymo6761 I get what you're saying, but on the other hand I don't want my favorite artists to struggle to pay the rent. Locksmith seems like a smart enough and grounded enough person that I'm not worried about financial success ruining his music. I want the man to get paid, because he's fucking worth it.
@@robertbinou7622 I meant to reply to this as soon as I uploaded the lyrics video, but then I saw you commented on it hours after it was up and just replied to that comment instead haha 😆💯🙏🏽 I highly appreciate your support & enthusiasm
Lock is something special...I knew he was great since Mtv’s battle of the MC’s back in the day... I’m just getting on to Dr Khan...he’s a dope ass lyricist and a real medical Dr on the frontlines of this covid shit...salute 🔥
Oh my daze! My new favorite track. Lyrical gymnastics of the highest level. Lock and laz are so ridiculous with the skills. They put everyone on the planet to shame. I have a hip hop collection in 36 languages with records rivaling dj eclipses collection and I can say with confidence that locksmith is top 3 MC's on the planet. Without question... All hail the king
For 5 years I lost job, I had no source of income. Until I read someone comment on the RU-vid,, recommend Mr David George Services on crypto trading, so I had to get in touch with him after following up his instructions was able to earn 8 0 0 0 USD that same day 🤣🤣
See....now I need an entire project with Locksmith, Lazarus, Afro, and R.A. The Rugged Man!!!! Sa Roc can be featured all over the project too!! Make that happen y'all!!!! Shit is FIRE!!!!!!!
Locksmith is the greatest rapper of all time. From his battle raps, bruh was spitting acapella and then destroying with his lyrics on beats man. What can’t this man do. All praise due to God
Lazarus huh? I like this dudes voice and flow. This track reminds me of some 90’s/2000’s style like Binary Star with some AFRO and a splash of those AOTP cats. Good shit!!
Never heard of Lazarus before but he went toe to toe with Locksmith on this one, so he earned a new fan in me. Locksmith was great as always. I think this is the fastest I’ve heard him spit. True talent
I hope this is the song that makes locksmith blow up. But you never know with the wack culture for taste of rap. He truly needs it though, I hope the name of the song sign has to do with there being signs of his getting what he deserves.
@@daveschmidt3467 Are we listening to the same song? Of course the song has what it takes to go viral but people are too concerned with all the other fake shit going on in the world that they don't give two shits about artists like locksmith because they're not blown up like a fucking Kanye or cardi B song or all that shit music that is blown up on social media or TV. Can you really say that you don't think this is a good song, if so I would hate to know what your taste in music is. You're probably a WAP fan, am I wrong ?
@@daymo6761 you clearly aren't getting what he's saying its a banger but its not what the tik tokers can make dances too so it won't blow up like it should
@@daymo6761 yeah he's just giving an objective opinion on it , this is just not the type of music that blows up , but even then if he's getting 100s of thousands of views on each video then he's doing pretty damn good especially cause he does it with no label
@@robertbinou7622 a comment that disregards no one matching pure lyrical when brought up with mcs who imo and probably most of proper hip hop fans are better lyrically No objectiveness about it I think lock is a great mc still.
@@mmmyeah7 this is a legit subjective opinion that I can deal with you're right. But nostalgia is real and tends to embellish the past regardless of facts. But this is art so you're right yes sorry for being quite preachy
