I always learn so much watching your videos, Im working towards starting a locksmith business, I know it won't happen over night, but fortunately a lot of knowledge if free if you just pay attention, that's why I try never missing any of your videos. #LockBoss for life
Be persistent as well when starting your own business! There are a lot of things out there to knock you down, just keep on the right path and never give up if you really want it!
I came across a newer ford that was not listed. I had to play a guess my cut game. Had to call and ask for help. But that was very helpful PJ. Thanks #LockBoss.
Great information!! One of my most time consuming tasks is identifying key blanks....I know it has and will continue to get better with time and experience. #LockBoss.
Great information! Could have used this info the other day when I was trying to copy a b119 key. Ended up breaking the probe on my Xhorse Dolphin. Luckily I had a spare. #lockboss
@@williamc2553 Interesting.. I'm not sure if CLK sells them, but I bought a really cool set of 250 key blades that covers most makes and models. It really helps with getting a low cost try out key and the customer loves getting the bonus blade for an emergency wallet key!
Definitely ilco book is a must to have handy, I use it daily and is a life saver. I'm not a Futura user, so it's not much input I can say about it. But Definitely it is different on how to operate this machine. In my case we use instacode and it is being helpful on the field for us. Thank you PJ, #Lockboss is getting better and better
This is a daily occurrence in my business. I have a Futura and a Condor. I’ll search by Make, Model, Code Series, and Key blank. Sometimes even jumping to another machine depending on the problem. Persistence pays! #Lockboss
Vehicle isn't listed video. Great 1 but I'm like your daddy old school I prefer book everything but I am getting n 2 new school tech slowly. I'm just old school and stubborn. Thanks pj. James estep locksmith in Tennessee. # lockboss
Great video, thanks! I have just recently started looking into different machines and software, comparing their available libraries and functionality so I may increase my variety of services as a #Lockboss!!!
I always thought when the car or year of the car isn’t in your database. Just do a key search or use another car that uses the same type of key. And you’ll be able to cut the key
🌵🇨🇦 Not sure why, but my post did not save. Great video and I downloaded both resources already. It would be nice to find a good code source based number of look ups ($x.xx for x number of lookups) rather than the yearly subscription. Thx for the Video. #LockBoss 🇨🇦🌵
Great video, PJ. I was wondering if CLKsupplies would ever sell more American locks such as the 700, 1100, 5200, or/and 5200? Since CLKSupplies sells the repinning kits.
Have you done a video of the new keys coming out. The reason I ask I just found out there is a 128bit Ford sidewinder In just wondering what other keys I have missed #lock boss
More good info. Tell me again... can you use gcode on you phone? Or does it have to be a laptop? Or even a tablet? In all actuality my auto pro pad is a tablet.... could I use that? #lockboss
How often do you get requests for a type of key that either isn't in the electronic tools, or that you've never seen before? I'd imagine the electronic tools have the majority of the common keys out there, but as long as murphy's law is a thing, I'm sure it's pretty common to get "uncommon" keys. #lockboss
