Cameron Chapman looks really good as the Lockwood character. Apparently he's a stage actor, so I have a lot of confidence he'll have good on-screen charisma. The trio are getting great reviews for their performances
Excellent point on the trailers. At times the urge to not give away anything major in the trailer acts in detriment to grabbing the attention of potential viewers.
Well hopefully not 10 seasons, because those 5 books are a finished story, and so far they are very true to the books. And Stroud, the author, is really good at revealing insane plot twists in the end, still leaving hooks in the very beginning.
This show is so good! Cross between Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes. Surprisingly dark and with great dialogue, unlike a lot of YA. The casting of central characters is so good.
Lockwood and co has 5 books and they are hoping for 3 seasons which I love, I have way more faith if they go into a show knowing how it will all wrap and not just drag it out
The world building was pretty interesting to me Teenagers with "gifts" are the ones who should be agents who fight ghosts because as you grow old, those gifts fade away. Also there is a curfew existing in this world because people all believe in ghosts.
I initially thought it was a trailer for a Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 1 or 2 sequel or prequel because the main character in those is named Flint Lockwood.
