The lockwood MT5 is used by the Victorian Power Industry, which encompasses 5 major electrical companies. For this reason, the Lockwood MT5+ is a heavily mastered system of the MUL-T-LOCK MT5+.
Thanks Adam! It was a steep learning curve for me to figure out the sliders and PIPs, and that alpha spring detent is a pain for me lol but man it felt good to get it open 😅 next up an unmastered one if I can find it 😆
Thanks keybeard! You'll have to try one! It's a tough pick 😅I'm looking to find an unmastered mt5+ or mtl800 next 🤞MUL-T-LOCK have been my favourite dimple locks to pick by far
@@gchev4 most definitely! I've only gotten as far as a multlock interactive. I don't have any with sliders! But now you got me on the path to finding one! 😅
Great 👍 It's was very good picking 👌 👍 👏 It's one generation back. But it does not have many different moments in the lock. Very nice work, Mate 😊 About this lock, can we talk many times ⏲️ Always he have new surprises!!!! )) Good luck, Greg 👍 Thank You for your work. ✔️🔓🌎☮️
Thanks tipa! I'm trying to get an MTL800 unmastered with all the pin in pins and double alpha spring. Hopefully I can get it to try and pick it 😅 thanks for watching 😁 it was not expertly picked by me but it did open 😅
@gchev4 . You did a great job on this MT. The 800th MT is a little more difficult. +1 false gate on each inside pin. Alpha in 800 2in1 + false. You need a wider hook when working alpha. And it’s right that you double-checked the alpha pin several times when you opened this lock. Well done, Greg. Good Luck 👍 👍 👍 🔓✔️☮️🌎
Thanks loki, this is basically a MUL-T-LOCK so it feels the exact same as all the PIPs I've picked. I even wonder if MTL produces these and sends them to lockwood 🤔 Hunting down an mt5+ next so i can get full PIP with unmastered sliders. This is a really fun pick if you can get a hold of one.
