1st Overall small group Teen jazz group Locomotion Dance Precisions Anaheim, CA Nationals 2009 Elleni Avila, Ashley Gonzales, Jasmine Mason, Lonni Olson, Jessica Richens
as Mary Murphy would say,"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" That was HOT! the costumes were hot, the choreography was hot - mad props to the choreographer. I wish I was doing that dance. Great job!
They are amazing and they inspire me. I hope my group dances are this good. These girls do more than 24 hours of competitive classes a week while i do 24 hours all together and half of that is ballet and the other half competions! GO DP
This was absolutely amazing, I don't even care if there 13 or not, it may have been sexy but thats what they were told to do, so they have to. They were so together, there really going to go somewhere in life
Those costumes were on point especially when they turned! Loved it. The only thing is that the one girl had her hair pulled back when everyone else had it done kindve bugged me because you dont get the effect of the full hair flip. But loved it
WERRRRRKKKKKKKKK!!!!! oh my god. im obsessed with each and every one of you. the costume was great and even better with the turns. and the turn combo to that dime stop. gorgeous. ugh. i cant!!!!
yeah, i get how the age category system works, i was just saying that the choreography is more appropriate for senior-age dancers. i assume most of the people who gave me a 'thumbs down' on my previous comment are younger dancers. one day they'll grow up and understand that some styles of dance aren't appropriate for 13-yr-olds to be doing.
Wow. That was AMAZING. I usually am the first to call "Too many tricks! Too competition-ish!" but even though there were a lot of turns, and some kicks (and developpés! Damn!), they were excellent and so was EVERYTHING else. The dancing was great, the performance was great, and they pulled it off without looking too sleazy, which would have been so easily possible. Oh, and the hair was great too xD
again, nothing against the choreography (it was really, really cute), and nothing against the dancers (they're obviously amazing!), but i feel like this style of dance looks better on older dancers. i understand a lot of people don't feel the same way and think i'm just being old-fashioned, but that's just my opinion.
