I understand the loc journey being for spiritual purposes but I also understand if someone does it for the aesthetics. Like myself, I’ve thought about locking my hair because I love the look. Who cares. It’s all beautiful regardless of the reason why someone chose to begin their journey. We all have different stories to tell. Love your locs & all the great info you share on Instagram on maintaining them. Thanks
You locs are beautiful. Appreciate your transparency... it baffles me that people respect the individual journey of the loc process but only when it falls in line with their perspective. I'm 7.5 weeks in loving it and plan to keep my ends curly for as long as I want💜💚

I am only 2 months in with curly ends!!! People are rude in these streets….the curly ends really have some in their feelings. People are weird 🙄. Most importantly I am enjoying my journey❤.
Girl, ignore the naysayers! I've been wanting to loc for years & I was inspired seeing you on IG. I finally made the leap after trying out 4 sets. I'm only a few weeks in & already know I'm going to loosen my ends. I decided to loc because I want to be free from feeling like I had to have every strand in place & my only go to style was a slick back ponytail too 🙄 They say when you let your light shine, it gives others the permission to let theirs shine too! Keep shining girl!! ✨️

Been looking for someone w curly loc ends started mine small like this I just left about one inch curly I’m three months in I love yours, all loc styles are beautiful I’m keeping my ends I’m sure questions will be asked , I’m in it for convenience I’m a C .survivor who didn’t lose all my hair felt this was best for me my hair became extremely curly after Illness I loved it

I’m 8 months in with curly ends and following you on IG has definitely helped. So glad I’ve found you YT now. I loc’d up after I had my baby because I was the same way about my natural hair. It was constantly up so the baby couldn’t get in it lol
I can honestly say seeing your pics go viral with your curly ends inspired me to keep the ends of my locs curly even though I’m only 2 months in with my loc journey. I’ve been wanting to loc up for a very long time but I felt the same way I wasn’t completely ready to let go of my curly hair so seeing you with your locs with loose curly ends I knew I was capable of doing the same with my locs so I absolutely thank you for being an inspiration to me and others! ❤

I’ve always loved locs and attempted to loc my hair last year but the person who did my hair didn’t understand my hair texture, so I had to cut all my hair off and start over 😮💨. That didn’t stop me. I found a loctition who stated she can do my type of hair. I’m Jamaican and Chinese so my roots are very fine, but my hair is very curly. I wanted to find a way to still honor my curls with less maintenance. Especially since I moved to an island where it’s always summer. Thank you for sharing. You’ve truly inspired me. Just know when I loc my hair, it will be your picture and profile it brining to get my hair done because I look forward to the journey. Thank you🙏🏽✨

I have a very similar hair texture as u with curly ends only mines is very fine & low density..so glad to stumble over your page! I've my hair, 1moth in but having a hard time them staying locked. I started with twist n rip and used crochet needle after. My hair just doesn't stay in. Sighh I found that my 1st wash did tighten them I'm just hoping now they thicken up....they're so small. 😩😩😩
I just started my locs and I have loose ends… I dont understand the fake outrage with loc styles!! Curly ends, loc extensions, retwist ect Like let people do what they want with their hair without out the drama. Your locs are beautiful! I started mines because I wore faux locs for 1 year and felt so beautiful it was weird how my self esteem grew. I was never attached to my hair being straight or styled because it was so time consuming and frustrating to do. Now that I have locs I’m not worried about my hair. Im more in love with my hair than ever before!
Yes I started mine a month ago and it was in line with my spiritual journey but after my son I got tired of two strand twisting and then having to detangle after letting it sit for weeks.

Idk if it's only bc it's only been 9 months but my ends won't loc or just haven't loced up. I was told it might take up a year or two but they are definitely still curly. But it's cute so I'm not mad at it 🙌🏾
