Thanks! I've done a couple with Archon but the non-Archon version is a bit less conditional. With the right map/mobs/pylon combo, Archon has the potential to be faster. I'll probably try to do another Archon one soon.
Any tips on playing this at 2300 paragon? I have to fish for an open map just to complete a 150 in 12 - 13 minutes. If I don't have a power for the boss then often times I won't get a clear in time.
Fishing for the open map definitely helps. You could try forcing pylon spawns by killing big mobs of trash along the way before uncover too much of the map. Pylons generally spawn at around 20% rift progress increments. Any pylon can help kill the boss quicker if you save it to spawn elites for some area damage and arcane power on crit. If you save a pylon for the boss, try to stack stricken until boss hp is about 75% - 80% before taking it because it will be hard to apply stricken once the elite spawns. If you find a power pylon on the 1st floor and want to save it for the boss, you can TP back to town around 98% progress and run back in the 1st floor rift entrance to spawn the boss on the right floor by killing some leftover mobs. Try to fish for an Orek's map if you want the best possible chance at a fast time.
