Ruben Loftus Cheek is super underrated and he is the most technical player/best dribbler in the England squad. He only lacks in stamina but he plays similar to prime Yaya Toure, and I'm glad Chelsea is giving him more playing time in the cup/Europa games.
I think he's overrated. He's good, but he's not that good. His dribble and chance creation numbers are not very impressive, and he doesn't really contribute much to goals. And saying he plays similar to prime Yaya Toure is a load of tosh. Toure was world class during his prime, he was able to contribute in both boxes, was able to score 20 league goals a season, and was technically far superior, not to mention a better passer of the ball. There is a reason that Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Barkley and Fabregas are all ahead of him in the pecking order, and that is that they are superior players. And as to him being the best dribbler and best technical player in the England squad, I disagree. I think Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling, James Maddison are all technically superior and better creators. You could even add Sancho to that list, although he's not even close to being the finished article yet.
@@MashiatCOD99 Judging players based upon numbers is quite poor, and Yaya wasn't really world class. Played in an awful era of the Prem, was easy to run through defences the way he did. The guy was 6'2 and was still looking above his weight, wouldn't be half as good in today's era
Loftus cheek has to fight for his place imo coz barkely and kovacic aren't playing around. If he improves jst a little bit with his endurance he'll be a beast.
@@stupendous7848 ikr he does but i believe he has so much potential that he jst looks mediocre now. Barkely looks like he got his groove back so it won't be easy.
Loftus just leave and go and play football why work so hard just to waste time an sit on the bench just because it’s “Chelsea football club”go out and prove your worth here or abroad
He has to put in the work when he is on the pitch, simple as. We have a midfield 3 of jorginho, kova and kante., all three of which are better atm. Sure he played great for England but he looks lazy in a Chelsea shirt majority of the time, he's a good player but if you're looking like your not giving your all then your not going to make the team. However i expect sarri to change that, well i hope at least.
Kernzy “looks lazy” lol you obviously dont watch him play then. he was one of our main creators on the pitch in our latest Europa league match. ironically, that’s just a lazy assumption. he works very hard when he’s out there. watch closer
Hahaha saying i don't watch him, and then refer to his last performance around a week ago. Clearly your the one who doesn't watch him play. I've seen almost every appearance he has made in a Chelsea shirt and yes he was good the other day ill give you that and has been on a few other occasions. But that isn't enough to get a spot as a starting player in a squad with our quality. Also saying he was one of our best creator's is not a good counter argument, im not talking about that im talking about work rate, pressing etc. Maybe he just doesn't have the stamina to do so or just saves his energy for attacking i don't know, but a player with his physical attributes should be bossing the midfield not just being creative.
The correct answer to that question is "Players who will never make it due to them not leaving Chelsea as other clubs will require them to take less money"
