Godot has come a long way in 2 years. The experience used to be bad, documentation wasn't good. First implementation of types was garbage. I still don't like GD script, but Godots iteration speed has me hooked. Unity is so slow. Even using the hot reload plugin, still can't changes on the fly like Godot and see instant results in a running game. A benefit of interpreted languages.
I know this tutorial was for 3.0 version of Godot. But apparently it didn't require much work to transfer to 4.0 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_gBpk5nKyXU.htmlsi=JX8RVnYg4FLWrARI
