This was a last minute decision to come here after the sardine run. My battery was low, the tide was high, and the current was STRONG. There was one scuba diver in the area. I didn't have my mask or an extra battery with me, so I'm upset about that. But I was told large loggerheads were in the area, so I dropped by. You can get close to them, but only when they are eating grass. The footage isn't that great, but it's me an my guide doing the best we can in rough water. I don't know how to edit color in a video, so here you go! We are in murky water and there are clouds overhead = color shift. I did enjoy my 10-15 minutes with them in their natural habit.
