Bros , your skill with a chainsaw is very impressive to say the least about it. Especially the flat stumps on the hills! Takes pride, knowledge, and a little bit of psycho , maybe a lot. Takes a lot to log , period ! I know I got some, somewhere down the skid trail. “Some serious-tension” dam good line. Love to hear a chainsaw runnin and them big Hammers fallin and hit the ground. “Like music to my ears!!” Well let’s go get another load. AC

I wouldn’t dare ask you on you tube what you contract cut , skid, load, haul for in them hills. Down here in these Pine plantations u better be making $14 a ton to cut, skid, load, process, and .16 cent a ton mile to haul and some diesel adjustment plus,,, or you backing up. But so many of these loggers do it cheaper. The big thing down here now , man..... is dealers starting up somebody working on a crew that fantasizes about owning something,,,, the dealers will tell them we will get you a cutter , skidder, loader, and you can make payments on production. They will start them off with a good tract or two. Then they will put them out there in a pasture, fence rows , wet spots nobody could get. And tell them you are cutting for $10 or less ,put it on the truck, and maybe .13 cents to haul. When they say we can’t do it that cheap. The dealer says you are. You ain’t got no bargaining power That’s our equip. Where do you go then. ?? Should have stayed where you were , making over $1000 a week with pickup. Me and Michael started with a 540 cable and old prentice 210 and didn’t have $50 dallors, Together that is. But we had grit, attitude, and bargaining power. Still cutting on the same lands we started 32 years ago. Never had to jump no fences, even when the land changed ownership to a different company. AC
