Your brain just thinks it does because there is a TON of nerves there and the number of signals is overwhelming when you get hit there; so once the number of signals diminishes, your brain finally can form a response to the pain receptors that are still firing and tells you it hurts. Its a similar reason for why a full kick or punch to the nads seems to hurt less when it should obv hurt more, your brain is overwhelmed by signals so you just don't feel ALL of the signals going to your head until the majority of the the pain receptors going off in your nads have pretty much stopped firing. meanwhile the two admirals, aokiji and akainu is fighting like to the death sort of non stop for the fleet admiral position...kizaru is just sitting in his chair and just drinking his tea.
For fair plot development, If kizaru ever did something seriously, with the real potential of his akuma no mi, the battle would be over before the backs of his anemies found out they are already going to the ground.
Vinícius de A Batista I feel like his df isn’t real light it’s kind of like green lantern light, and even if it is it can’t be used to the potential it has because of the limits of the human brain and how your brain can only think so fast. Unless he made his neurons move at light speed or his brain function at light speed which would take insane focus, and that’s only if his df is actual light, and I think his df is actually hard light OR brightness
actually rock types take electric neutrally. the reason for that misconception that rocks are immune to electricity was because for so long, almost every rock pokemon was also ground type. so people made the association that every time you used an electric attack on a rock type like geodude or onix, they were immune but forget that both those pokemon are also ground types.
One thing I want to comment for Kizaru's mirror issue. Yeah, realistically, a mirror would be cut by a laser. But remember; Devil Fruits are basically magic, and they don't obey physical laws all the time. Normal rubber isn't a perfect insulator, but the Gomu Gomu no Mi is, so it counters the Goro Goro no Mi. So maybe Kizaru's laser can be countered by mirrors even when a normal laser would work. Also Brûlée isn't a combat type, she's a support type, so maybe her fruit can create mirrors and lenses but she never experimented or learned that. For Caribou's fruit would also be countered by cold type Devil Fruits for similar reasons to fire, his mud would freeze up and he would be nigh useless. For Smoker I want to say that smoke may actually be usable as a weapon. Infamous Second Son showed this with the smoke power you use the majority of the game. For his weakness, I think the Suna Suna no Mi's sandstorms and twisters would be perfect to counter him. I almost want to make the argument that the 'Sea Devil' of legend that made these fruits specifically designed each fruit to 'lose' to a different fruit. I want to say that Davy Jones doesn't want one fruit to reign supreme over any other, so he made every fruit have at least one weakness, so some Paramecia fruits counter Logia, and vice versa. It would be cool to see Zoan fruits with counter powers.
Notorious I like the name Snowbunny Carrot for her pirate name it just fits so well. But if she does eat it I think she would be up there with Luffy and Zoro. Heres my list if she does eat it 1. Luffy 2. Zoro 3. Carrot 4. Sanji 5. Jimbei 6. Robin 7. Franky 8. Brook 9. Usopp 10. Chopper 11. Nami Now if Usoap learns how to use Obsevation haki and Amarment haki then I would put him above Robin. Since Nami has Zeus I put her above Usoap and Chopper. Edit: I switched Nami and Usopp. Usopp can also take alot of hits.
Chikara Zuyoi well, if it was a more pure diamond, aka, see through, it would be a prism and therefore a counter to Kizaru... but in the anime it’s show as a solid colour diamond, meaning it wouldn’t let light pass through it, but Oda could still make it so that it’s like a full body mirror suit and it could still counter Kizaru
but for some reason i think to turn crocodile in glass we must consider the magu magu no mi rather than mera mera no mi because to turn a sand into glass atleast 1600 degrees are required and a common solid fuel fire can max to max reach upto 1300 that is with candle flame but magma instead have an average between 490 to 1700 degrees above surface but we can instead use mera mera no mi to turn crocodile into glass sculture by the tag team with caeser and its gas gas power example oxyacetelyene can cause a temperature even higher than 2000 degrees and that tag team works than surely ace can beat shakazuki
xerlius smokers fruit is similar to crocodiles but different from Caesars even though (in the way they work) they’re all gaseous abilities, because Smoker and Crocodiles fruits are made up of particles, smokers’ are a lot smaller than crocodiles, but it still is. Smoke isn’t gas, it’s particles, while caesars fruit is literally gas, so he couldn’t control him
In the Fantastic Four Comics, there have been several instances where either Dr. Doom or Mr. Fantastic have either used a machine or a liquid to drain the oxygen around the Human Torch or any oxygen in his body that he requires to “flame on”.
the fight between Aokiji & Akainu to me seems pretty fair, since both are eachothers weakness. I think you overestimate Magma/Lava's power, if you watch magma in real life it doesn't take much to cool it down and turn it back to solid rock again, just the air cools it relativly fast, and magma flowing into water hardens almost instantly, but it'll still be super hot and make the water boil, but it'll be solid rock that really hot, not flowing magma. so basically what I'm saying it Aokiji doesn't need to lower the temperature around Akainu super much, just have a rather strong cold breeze constant at him and it'll affect him pretty effectivly, not to mention Magma and ice tend to explode when getting into contact with eachother, making lava turn to small solid pieces of rock almost instantly. but just like you mentioned Aokiji would also be weak against the heat since his ice will melt pretty fast.
@@jojoshoot2392 yes and you know what's hotter than blue fire it's the colorless flame which is the hottest and also invisible. If ace had his DF awakened and had this ability he could have killed akainu by both suffocation and disintegration. ( Suffocation because the flame burns away oxygen and make it in to carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide which is poisonous. While magma is the liquid state if it burns higher it will enter gas state where he would be disintegrated .

I would say for Akainu, strong wind could be used to counter his logia. Remember how Avatar Roku was stopping the volcano in the last airbender? He was using airbending to cool the magma back to its rock form.

+Elizabeth Id still say that forcibly taking over someones body by force would still warrant possession as a descriptor. If the fire was hot enough it could separate the bonds of the hydrogen and oxygen. This would turn water into more fuel for the fire. The oxygen to burn the hydrogen
That wouldn't really work, since the energy ace's fire put into the water to seperate it would be at least the same that comes out when the oxygen burns the hydrogen, creating new water in the process...
@@random.3665 All you need to know is Ace is really hot & can burn pretty much almost anything with enough training. He has a FIRE Devil Fruit, it’s not typical fire just like Luffy isn’t typical rubber.
@@christhefiend The amount of heat is irrelevant though: The post said he could create more fuel for his fire by seperating oxygen and hydrogen, making both available as fuel for fire. But when you burn hydrogen, you literally create new water. So to neutralize the threat that water is to him, he would have to both put enough heat in it to seperate it, but keep them away from heat to stop the hydrogen from burning up again at the same time. Thats what makes it impossible.
Tekking, did you ever watch the movie Sky high? There was a scene where a speedster ran around a guy with fire powers so fast it made a vortex that sucked out the oxygen.
Flare flare fruit is not inferior to magma fruit .. actually superior.. let me explain.. ace fire is orange in color ( incomplete combustion ) arout 800 degree cel ... but think about complete combustion ( white color fire on sabo ) it might around 5000 degree cel .. magma is around only 2000 degree celsius .
Crocodile grabbing Caribou with his right hand would be the most entertaining thing to watch in One Piece. A near limitless zone in his body losing all swamp moisture, SO MANY QUESTIONS FORM. what happens to all the items and people inside of him, what happens to him. How long would this process take! This is all i want to see lol
Caribou would probably crumble into dust and dirt since other than water vapor and plants thats what swamps are made of, and hed (hopefully) end up releasing everything he absorbed since there'd be no proper malleable substance for him to hold onto stuff.
It would probably work like Blackbeard's fruit. When he hit critical mass during his battle with Ace he just automatically ejected the ruins of the town from his body.
I'm glad you mentioned a glass-glass type of fruit, cause I was thinking a battle between Ace and Croc would be interesting(sand can smother fire, but hot enough fire can turn sand into glass), and that got me thinking that maybe Croc's awakening could be control over sand AND glass. But I think your super absorbent abilities would be more plausible for Crocodile
Huge wall of text ahead. Read if you're interested in why Aokiji might actually be a counter to Akainu, instead of the reverse. I want to point out that Magma is not a general counter to coldness. People think it obviously is, but they need to remember not to compare a fictional universe to our reality standards. Cold and heat are two sides of the same coin. In our world, there are very few things that get close to absolute zero, but there are many things that reach 3,000 degrees celsius or higher. So that's why its easy to assume that "heat > cold", because that's using our reality. Our standards of hot and cold have made us biased towards heat, saying "heat is stronger than cold". Even in Pokemon, fire > ice. The reality of it is, ANY heat will lose to absolute zero. Heat and cold are just measurements of energy. Think of cold as negatives, and heat as positive. Is +1 better than -1? They are both 1's just in opposite directions. When it comes to One Piece, a fictional world without our laws of physics (only select laws): I wouldn't say the Magma fruit counters Aokiji's fruit. It really depends on how cold Aokiji can get, and whether Akainu's magma is comparable to our worlds magma. The fact that Aokiji can INSTANTANEOUSLY freeze solid objects such as the ground, or people, tells us Aokiji can get pretty damn close to absolute zero. In the real world, this would instantly freeze Magma and turn it into a cold rock just the same as it would a person, only a bit slower. Remember, coldness is the removal of heat. If Aokiji applies his DF to Akainu, he would be effectively lowering the temperature of Akainu's magma, until it goes below 0 degrees, at which point it would then begin to freeze(depending on the material). The only difference is the time it takes against Akainu, versus a non magma devil fruited character. So yeah, you can say Akainu is a "counter" to Aokiji, in the fact that it takes longer, or more coldness, to freeze. But considering the feats Aokiji has displayed with instantaneous freezing, that likely wouldn't matter. The amount of "negative energy" required to freeze something instantly is unrealistic, and is fantasy in the real world. Even liquid nitrogen requires a fair bit of time to freeze something completely. TL-DR: It depends on how cold we're talking. The feats shown by Aokiji show he is close, if not at absolute zero. Perhaps 0.0001% warmer than absolute zero. Again, this matchup depends on the negative/positive energy. If you compare a Fridge devil fruit (Fridgo Fridgo-no mi) with the temperatures of a standard household refrigerator, to Akainu, then Akainu clearly would "counter" that made up devil fruit. But absolute zero would counter any amount of heat. Finally, we don't know Akainu's temperature. He claimed "he can burn fire" which is nonsense when it comes to reality, but the context implies he is hotter than fire. Fire can be many different temperatures, but at a certain temperature it turns into plasma. So we can assume Akainu is around the heat of plasma (hotter than fire). Misc note: In reality, fire can have a higher max temperature than magma. So when Akainu says his magma can burn fire, its insinuating that his magma is not "regular" (our realities magma) and is hotter than fire.
It's a false equivalency that devil fruits work based on reality whatsover. Aokiji's fruit doesnt absorb heat to create coldness. Aokiji just creates coldness. Its more concept manipulation, as opposed to thermodynamics manipulation. If aokiji's fruit worked based on absorbing heat- it would be a different story.- But it doesnt work that way. Logia's only display real world properties superficially. If we ignore what we know about devil fruits,- or if we imagines a world where aokiji's coldness ability worked like real life- you would be correct. But, if we want to actually analyse the story- we can't just ignore how things are stated to work. I think its far more accurate to look at devil fruits as concept manipulation than as some real world elemental analog. Akainu doesnt really create magma, he creates something similar to magma superficially, but in actually is totally different in function. Same with aokiji and ice. - This is especially true with kizaru. TlDR: Real world ice vs magma- works like you described. One Piece world- Ice vs Magma- works entirely differently. Saying coldness is the removal of heat, doesnt mean much in a world where Aokiji can just generate coldness without any regard for thermodynamics. Aokiji doesnt have a heat absorption ability,- he has a ice creation/manipulation ability.
One small thing, Akainu isn't the heat of plasma. If he were then he'd be shooting out plasma. Magma exists when it's at the appropriate temperature. He burned aces fire away because aces standard orange flames weren't as hot as magma. Simple. Also, agree with the reply above me. Akoji doesn't Insta win based cold technically absorbing heat. Akoji creates ice/a cold esque type of energy. And it's because his cold energy evened out against akainus heat energy aka his magma that caused the tie. It's basically a wall of blue stuff versus red stuff in the context of their fight.
@@mcarey94 Then how cold is Aokiji's Ice? I disagree with you on the point that Aokiji isn't removing heat from things he freezes, because that is what his powers do. Lower the temperature until freezing. Remember when Aokiji was introduced and he froze the sea in order for civilians to pass? He was just lowering the temperature of the sea until it froze (he even put his hand in the water, if that isn't enough proof). He wasn't "creating" ice. He was freezing the air/water into ice. You can actually see this in the anime, where it shows the air / water crystalizing into ice. But okay. Let's assume Aokiji isn't lowering temperature to create Ice, and is using fantasy to "spawn" ice. Then the question becomes "is Aokiji's created Ice cold enough to instantaneously freeze Akainu's Magma, like he does other substances, like human bodies/ bodies of water? I would assume not, but it definitely would provide help in an actual battle, even if it wasn't instantaneous. One of the points of my post above was to show that there is a bias towards heat, because fictional media has always displayed heat beating out coldness. I used the example "fire vs ice" in Pokemon. I also have to mention that I wasn't completely correct in my original post. Something being close to absolute zero doesn't mean it will immediately freeze whatever it touches. This is because of thermal dynamics. However, as shown in the Anime/manga, thermal dynamics doesn't seem to be playing a role, *OR* Aokiji's "spawned ice" or "heat removal" ability is so effective, that it is even below Absolute Zero (which is believed impossible IRL). As I mentioned with liquid nitrogen, even it doesn't freeze instantaneously. This whole thing is reminding me of that episode of Because Science about Kratos's axe that he throws, which instantaneously freezes his enemies. Because Science is a science RU-vid channel that tries to explain scientifically why things in fiction are the way they are, and they explained that it is impossible for Kratos's axe to freeze instantaneously unless it was colder than Absolute Zero. I recommend you to watch this episode, as it explains my original point about Aokiji not being countered by Akainu way better than I ever could. Main Point: So again, it depends on the temperatures of Aokiji's ice, or Akainu's magma. Since we have seen Aokiji instantaneously freeze massive solid objects, like ground before, then I would say that Aokiji is either Absolute Zero or below(which would be pure fiction).
Also I just thought of another point that is more important to the Aokiji vs Akainu fight: Who can freeze/melt more stuff? Think about it this way: The more ice you are able to produce, the faster heat will be removed. That's why it takes longer to melt a huge chunk of ice, than say a small little ice cube. Same vice versa. This fight will come down to who can create more ice, or more magma. The more negative energy you have, the faster it would drain positive energy. I can provide more real life examples: 1. Imagine melting a giant(the size of a building) ice cube, with nothing but a blow torch. That would take days/weeks. Does that mean Ice > Blowtorch? Blow torches can get pretty hot though. Again, it comes to quantity. 2. Imagine melting the wall to the north in Game of Thrones. That's a lot of ice. How many dragons would it take to melt that wall? Ironically, Because Science (that RU-vid channel I am plugging hard) tackles this question. Spoiler: A lot of freaking Dragons. So another factor in the Aokiji vs Akainu fight is: Who can produce more ice / magma? You can make the point that since Punk Hazard is equally split between Ice / Fire, they would be equal. Maybe that is what Oda was getting at when he made Punk Hazard that way. He wanted to show that Aokiji and Akainu's devil fruits were equal in power.
@@visoth7791 I think its pretty obvious that Oda heavily implied their devil fruits basically cancelled each other out and that Akainu only won by a tiny sliver. Also, yes youre right in that he is lowering the temperature, but that doesnt mean his devil fruit power has anything to do with absorbing heat either way. This isnt some ice man shenanigans where its revealed hes an omega class energy absorber. Aokiji lowers the heat of things by producing cold. Thats all is there is to it.
My thought on Aikanu and what's his weakness, the idea is that magma is a thick and slow material. Less like actual weakness, but more like his DF probably have some sort of speed cap for how fast his attacks are. Maybe that's how Aokiji managed to battle him evenly, by defensively dodging his magma, making foothold for himself by freezing ground around and looking for opportunities to strike him.
Again, this fallacy, still not sure what is name for it although. It's like when something isn't perfect then throw it out. There are flaws with how speed works in OP so just throw entire concept out as useless. This same thing seems to be reoccuring over and over in my eyes.
Not really. It's stated they cancel each other out. Akoji freezes whatever magma Akainu throws at him but the heat from the magma instantly evaporates whatever ice akoji can make to counter attack. Their powers are literally shown clashing head to head on punk hazard. Akoji gave up because he was sick of the fight.
So, Cesar Clown could essentially have a lot of smiliar powers to Ace, so long as he had an ignition source. Like he could have a bracelet with a flint in it, and shoot puffs of gas through it essentially creating fireballs, or fill the room with had and ignite it. Any shape or construct Ace could make out of fire, Cesar could make out of gas and ignite.
Damn Tekking didn't expect a video this early in the morning, I'm glad I stayed up watching anime. Also I just so happen to be going to college for Astrophysics, and according to my test results, the Afro is in fact slightly more powerful than a Super Soaker, unless you're on Mars
Also the problem with Aokiji vs Akainu is that Aokiji technically has a limit to how cold he can get, that being Absolute Zero, while Akainu can theoretically increase the temp of his magna infinitely. The problem with this is that if he increases the temp on magma to a certain tempature the molten rock/other materials turns from a simi-liquid to a gas form so he might not be able to increase the temp past that.
@@The777lordandy both of them have limits Magma is molten rock; If it exceed a certain temperature it will evaporate. / Or u can solidify the Magma and hit him then because i don't think he have much experience with solid Magma.
@@csvigneshwar3390 Yes, that is what I said towards the end, minus the turning into a solid, since that is what Tekking himself what talking about. Of course that's only if Akainu can control the heat of his magma, which he probably can to a certain extent.
I really don't believe that Akainu's fruit is stronger than Ace's. Rather that Akainu beat Ace because his haki was way stronger than Ace's, also that in that moment Ace just reacted by instinct not to counter Akainu's attack but to Protect Luffy. Also since Lava is a liquid-solid rock and Fire being pure energy Plasma.
@@TheTemper-King Fire is also a lot faster than magma. Its also tangible . You can imagine someone like garp just punching each magma rock. But punching a fire fish isn't possible.

btw. if you are reading this, thermodynamics might play a big role in that fight. What if the Glass Glass fruit could let the user turn there entire body into glass, that would be pretty FREAKING good for espionage, you be be see through! Just like the clear clear fruit. I doubt it. You can still see glass easily. Your body would be see through but you'd still be visible through edges and what not. I personally think that the glass glass fruit could be a devastating paramecia. You touch someone and turn them to glass then they are easy to break and kill.
Omnilisk yeah that’s true, that sounds super cool, I just meant because it’s manga land maybe he would say that they’re invisible but your idea sounds really cool too
Buso Haki does not nullify fruit powers. It just allows one to touch and affect the fruit user’s body like a normal person. An example is when Luffy used Haki to grab Casear in his gas form, Casear did not turn back human but Luffy was able to grab the gas like a tangible body due to Haki This is also why Haki and devil fruit powers can be combined and used together, Observation Haki at a high enough lv like Katakuri can have some body altering fruit users dodge even HAki attacks by predicting the attacks and creating “holes” in their body. Special paramecia’s like Katakuri and logias can do this.
Bankai Zulu I love zoans the mythical class is my favourite if I could have any fruit in the series I would want Marco's Phoenix fruit flight regeneration bad ass blue flames plus all the benefits of a Normal zoan physical attributes and all that although I would want x-drakes fruit too so I could feed it to my dog to scare the absolute shit out of the mail man for my own amusement

Hey Tekking. Logias aren't humans that turn into an element, their body IS an element, and they can take a human form. An example of the former is Katakuri, who has a special paramecia type. An example of the latter is Caesar and Sabo. Caesar spent most of his time as pure gas, but when he had to fight, he took on a humanoid form, and Sabo had trouble not turning his hand into fire when he first got his fruit, showing that it was easier to be fire than human (most logia users prefer humanoid forms because they are used to being human). Logia = elemental body. All Others With Similar Powers = turn into element.
isn´t the definition of smoke: A heterogeneous mixture of a gas and solid particles (it doesn´t have to be from fire) so shouldn´t smoker have different types of smoke?
completely agree, I wasn't advocating he would use it although he was willing to bring down a meteor in Dressrosa haha, but I was just pointing out if anyone could make it, it would be him and no Blackbeard
If Dragon has the wind/storm fruit I think he’d be the best matchup for Akainu. The projectiles would still be deadly, but the slow cooling would turn most of the magma to stone pretty quickly
He can it's just he needs to be at a certain intensity, stuff like Water, Fire Fighting Foam, Heat-resistant Blankets, and Sand can extinguish his flames otherwise. Ice can work on him too, but it'd need to be extremely cold and it would need to cool him down faster than he can heat up. Human Torch typically has himself at a low-intensity which is how multiple Villains are able to take away his abilities. And as far as I know only Nova Flame when performing Nova Burst is capable of such a feat, and even then he can only be in this state for less than a day and if he does Nova Burst he needs at least 12 hours to fully recover from unleashing most of his energy at once. He'd have to be fighting a very strong opponent in a unpopulated area (preferably off-planet) to even consider going Supernova on someone, that shit can destroy a small moon after all (depending on the continuity this feat can be so much worse, but when it comes to this in particular I'm not too sure), and if said Nova Burst fails to defeat the enemy in question he's basically screwed. TL;DR: He sorta can go Supernova but to do so would put him in so much risk and unless it's someone like Galactus or another powerful villian there's no real need to get that hot in the first place. And if he doesn't have enough time to heat up it doesn't really matter all that much.
Remember the episode where ace leaves luffy in alabaster after that bounty hunter? The bounty hunter has a cannon with fire extinguisher foam presumably for ace.
Chemist here and i've worked with pretty high power lasers. And yes they reflect on mirrors no matter what, if you have a perfectly polished mirror that is, cause if you have one that has imperfections maybe those imperfections could heat up. But normally we used like 5 or 7 mirrors to redirect a laser that could heat up our carbonbased material to the point of creating nano-diamonds in it's structure.
