First listen is rough, but after that it grows on you like hell.

Dude, you totally missed the whole concept of "Waiting Room" So what's going on in that track is that God is telling him about how he is EVERYBODY. Everyone lives through him and that all the wars that happened were him fighting with his inner self. Then later on in the track it talks about how we all need to treat others the right way because we are all ONE. EVERYBODY.

I wasn't a huge fan of the album on the first listen but it kept growing on me and I definitely enjoy it now. it isn't horrible but it's not his best. definitely does not deserve this hate

It wasn't a terrible album by any means but it had it's flaws. I feel like there's no replay value on the album for the majority of the songs. Enjoyed the skits for the most part fun to listen to. Production was great. But then my major problems with it where the repetitive concepts that got boring after a few tracks and lyrically it weren't his best. Also the amount of talking then singing on certain songs bothered me because like I said same thing being repeated just in different phrasings. I have no problem with the positivity and message he's trying to spread but at the end of the day how many songs are you gonna make to keep doing that same thing. Really disappointing to me but still can't wait to see what he does next

I've seen a little hate on this album so far...with reference to Logic talking a lot about himself and his race. This is an album you need to listen too more then once and let it digest. Also I think to really understand this album you need to listen to all of Logics music, you can't judge him on this album. This is him getting a lot of things of his chest and something he needed to do, and I think he executed it beautifully. Big up RattPack, big up Bobby.

He ruined that fire ass beat on Take It Back. I wish he would have kept rapping and maybe talked for 30 seconds. I was expecting more from this album tbh. There's definitely bangers don't get me wrong but it's not going to be on rotation like his older 12-15 stuff.

Take It Back had the potential to be a masterpiece. I appreciate what Logic did with the long monologue in that track, but that could have been done differently. Still really enjoyed the project as a whole

I've listened to Everybody 3 times now, and honestly anyone that hates on it should just gives it multiple listens. I'm a huge Logic fan but the first listen didn't pull me in as much as I thought it would. But with more listens, and knowing the song names and each perspective the songs represent, the whole album becomes more enjoyable

Good review of the album man! The anxiety you talked about at 27:30 is exactly what I've been going through! Started about a year ago. It's like a really lonely feeling. Even around ppl it feels like I can't trust anyone. It was really miserable for the first few months but I've learned to live with it now... It's nice to know that you've been there as well and sort of got over it (from what I can tell).

Thanks for the respect for the Rattpack. Well put together review bro. In my opinion he should have conveyed most of his thought in dedicated songs/skits rather than having it take up most of the songs that were partially rapping, it's hard to vibe out to then.

So far from what I'm seeing is that people are saying that, " This is logic's worst album ". The thing is that they just want some turn up shit. Like 21 savage or uzi vert. They were hyped for the album because they heard his past projects and they were fire asf and turn up and 6ix on the beat is fire but this album is spreading a message. Logic says to just listen to the lyrics. And this is a strong message. Also meami is looking at it if logic is rapping about him self. Logic rapps from a perspective of EVERYONE. I suggest going to the Genius channel and it has logic explaining the lyrics of each song. Just go embrace, listen and think about the message. This is where logic changed lives because of the strong message it provides.

In my opinion, this album is great. My very first listen was terrible, I didn't vibe with it at all or anything but I tried another time and the second listen went better. Of course I kept playing it and playing it and it has grown on me. I now love this album, I play it through at least 2 times a day and people may be subject to their own opinion but this is mine :)

Here's the deal. Logic is a talented artist; we all know that. People who are saying "If you don't like this album you're not a true fan," are fucking idiots that can't fathom other peoples opinions. IMO the album wasn't good. Logic had countless interviews in which he discussed the "everybody" concept and how this song was gonna be "for the spirit". In reality it is very little of that. We are given few perspectives and issues he's already addressed in his past albums. There is some story telling there other than the skits but not enough for me personally. He also included so much filler lyrics that it's fucking ridiculous. "Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling." "Looking for the meaning of life in a cell phone screen."(X2) And god awful CORNY/CRINGY pronunciations like "MOOOOOSLAM" (ALL IN ONE SONG). And the guest appearance of Neil Degrasse Tyson was not taken advantage of and poorly used. THIS ALBUM IS A REACTION TOWARDS IGNORANT INTERNET TROLLS. That's the reality. It is a waste of an album if you ask me. Sure there's like 2-3 bangers but I was expecting so much more. YES I UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S A POSITIVE MESSAGE BUT THE MUSIC SUCKED. (No I can't do better but Logic definitely could have). #rattpack #criticismallowed
