OMG, 4 minutes in and it’s clear I am not going to attempt this. I’m using MainStage for live performance and thought streamdeck might be a good controller. If it’s this complicated to set up it’s not for me. Thanks for saving me some $$. Great video!
Hello guys, I'm looking out to find a Logic Pro MIDI Controller pack for the Stream Deck +. So I could use the knobs for the Volume Faders and Buses. Is there anything available? Thank you!
when i click on some of ther buttons drop down midi and layout, some of them are not saying IAC DAW2Mackie, instead Daw2Mackie, so checked ans changed to all IAC then the port, hopefully this is the solution,
Install instructions do NOT work. I bought the Davinci Resolve, Cubase, and Logic Pro Stream Deck profiles. I was hoping that they would work. But your installation directions don't work on MacOS Monterey. The Audio Midi Setup is installed on my MacBook Pro Max, but when I click "Audio Midi Setup" at the 1:10 point in the video, an "Audio Devices" window pops up. NOT the "Audio Midi Setup" window. Note that I followed your directions exactly. This is broken. Please fix or give me a refund. (I'd prefer a fix.) Dan.
On the newer Macs, once you are in the utility, on the Window menu there is an option to Show Midi Studio. I think maybe it switches between Audio and MIDI. Either way, once you show Midi Studio you will be able to continue. There were several spots where the directions are a bit out of date and just need to be refreshed for the newer OS releases but you will be able to get through all of the steps and it works. It's just a matter of things being slightly different or found in a slightly different spot on your Mac.
Hello, While we use the MIDI Plugin that utilizes the Mackie protocol, Mackie2Daw and Daw2Mackie were the virtual MIDI ports that Streamdeck could communicate with your system via MIDI.
@@arnelbarbarona9844 Thanks! Now, but now I‘m stuck at 3:42. I tried a couple of time, closely following your instructions, but I can‘t change the output port to Mackie2Daw or anything else..
