HELLOOO MUSIC TECH HELP GUY : I just wanted to express my complete gratitude for you to give up your time to help us all in logic world, to understand the overall confusing sections of logic in the plugins and over all sound creation , editing and mastering Thank you :) you rock
I really liked how you explained every little button and function, those last 3 really helped a lot. Idk why your videos don't get like thousands and thousands of views. Haha. I think this stuff is too complicated for the average person. Your videos to me are the best quality wise in all of RU-vid. I'm sure you could make a lot of money mixing songs online via your own website or web e-mail. Thanks a lot for everything👍 I'm trying to get there.
Thanks so much for this amazing, amazing series of Logic Pro X tutorials. The package is enormous and your information is so helpful! It has saved us hours of hard slog. Cheers Mate from Glenn & Dave.
Thanks you so much! Recently I was mastering songs for an album and they were beginning to sound good in my opinion. Then as I began swapping headphones/speakers to fine tune it, the sibilance was out of control! I wasn't exactly sure how to work the DeEsser, and the more I tried to use it, the more all the vocals had major lisps. Haha now I've got it sorted. :)
I love your mixing tutorial it could help anyone from beginner to an advanced mixing producer but my advice would be create presets for yourself like how to eq a snare kick piano etc and work from there, specially with vocals!
Could you please do a tutorial on the new DeEsser 2 plugin? It would be super helpful because every time I use it, it makes my words sound even more slurred
whats the best way to record vocals for voice over with a shure microphone and less essers occurng when recording? i find using the de esser sometimes does not get the harsh s sounds out of the audio and still very harsh on the ears. any advice would be amazing. thank you in advance
Thanks @MusicTechHelpGuy I'm gonna try this out! Btw, how do you take out "Pop" via automation? Did you have another video for that? Or does somebody else have a reference?
Please , did you remove the compressor and Limiter you used while recording before mixing it all over again ???... or you bounced the plugins you used in recording the vocals already before this mixing ?..
+Mad C Inc The amount of low-end build up due to the proximity effect is also an issues. For singing vocals, I use a condenser mic about 4-10 inches away, angled down at the singer's chin (so it's slightly higher-up than the mouth). This prevents plosives, low-end and high-end build up. For rapped, or metal vocals, I'll use a dynamic mic (SM7B preferably), with a pop filter about 3-6 inches away. Low gain. Angled down slightly.
Thank you, one last question do you show how to work with maschine studio in logic pro x, being able to use all the control features on maschine studio, like the record button, etc?
