Was it a conversation that could've been had in private? Absolutely. But I think it's good for the world to see shit like this, because it's the unfortunate reality that a lot of children go through. There's no "honoring" your parents when they didn't play the role of your parent. In any scenario where a parent would choose abandoning their child instead of raising them does not deserve honor. Parents deserve to be called out. Hiding behind a title when you did nothing to earn it other than procreate is bullshit. We dont ASK to be brought into this world. If you, as a parent, make the decision to bring a child into this world, you're responsible for THEM. Yall think just because Logic has gotten to a point where he can spend time with his father means he cant call him out on his bullshit? This is not about race, this is about family, experience, and reality. Someone who loves their father won’t ever understand someone who doesn’t. Respect, trust, and forgiveness are earned, not given automatically for no reason, regardless of family. As someone who grew up with a crack addicted father IN and OUT of the home, Logic didnt do anything wrong. The relationship isnt there and his FATHER exploited his youth so if he has to do this to heal its all fair to me. His FATHER embarrassed him by kids coming to him in school saying they saw your dad outside of 7- Eleven panhandling when you havent seen him for days on end. His FATHER embarrassed him banging on his door after school when other kids are outside playing and you cant let him in because your mom told you not to because he's there to take and pawn your stuff. His FATHER decided to leave him and his brother at 7 and 2 at home alone for DAYS after their mom trusted him to watch over them while mom went to visit grandpa when he was dying. He let that pain out and hes well within his right.

The worst part is he wants to be accepted as black but he tore down his black father on camera. But yet he didn’t do the same to his Racist white mom.

I think the team missed the part where Logic wasn’t raised by his dad. He was out of the picture. So I think there will always be issues when a person was raised without a father and then that father pops up because you made something of yourself. His father chose to be there, he’s not a child. Acting like Logic berated someone who is beneath him and helpless is YOU putting the father down as a man who wanted to be there for his son of his own accord. Ever consider that? Probably not.
