A basic Logisim tutorial. I was still sick, when making this. Sorry about the resolution, I recorded only a region, and it got tight ;) To Binary conversion - www.roubaixinte... All Rights belong to their respective owners
Well, one way is to eliminate the ROM and use Clock with Counter (Don't forget to enable ticks in this point). At least I have used it so. I have heard some other methods, but cannot recall them currently. I was thinking of making an update to Logisim (Because it has been so long), so I guess it's another good thing for me to make research on.
Hiya, Because the number I give in are Decimal. Each the number has a position value (1=0 location, 3=1st location, 2=2nd location, etc.). The left side input defines which location value is given out from the right side. The Splitter then turns it to Binary (1 and 0). If LED gets value "1", it turns ON. If it gets "0", it turns off. So if the value in the ROM is 3, then the binary value after splitter is 011 (Reads from down-to-up). Basically You can see that when clock gives value "1", it chooses the 2nd value in the ROM (Because in programming world, 0 is the first number in the order), which gives forward the value "3" in that location which I wrote. Then it goes to the Splitter, which turns it into binary "011". After that, each wire gets its value and lights different LED. You can see (And in the video, I also show) it when You press on the wire or Splitter, what value is in there currently. To find a simple Binary value, You can Google "Decimal to Binary Converter", if You're new to it. It's a long explanation, but I hope that clears out, if not, ask again and I'll try to explain :)
No no no. By any means, I'm not a developer on such platform, nor do I have the time currently for such deed. What I meant, was and update showing more of the functions and such. I'm not involved in development of Logisim.
I created a simple image for a simple workaround. Would still recommend a ROM, but this one works also. Can be optimized. imgur.com/gallery/NhRroBN (EDIT: Updated the link)
