Wow, thanks, so thorough. I have had this camera for years but then just used my phone. Now I am needing to use the camera so this was very helpful. I just wish I actually understood what you just walked me through! LOL One question, do we have to sign in with our different YT channels, or just switch accounts on YT?
Nice video, for some reason I didn't find this before. Thanks to the checks in this video I noticed some OBS settings went back to default and I made the rookie mistake of not bothering to check those (the Recording Encoder settings CBR bitrate)
Question? I have a Logitech c920e and the highest resolution I can get is 640 x 360. It does not give me the 1920 x 1080 resolution option in my "custom" settings menu? It does in those other two menu selections you went through but not in my custom menu. Can't figure out why this is because this camera is supposed to be able to record in 1080p. It had no problem doing this on my old computer in Windows 10 but this new computer I just got with Windows 11, it seems like it's not compatible and does not give me that option?
8:07 I did everything, adjusted the settings, checked the drivers in Windows, all the GHub stuff (i can see what the camera record/an image), but when i get to this point in the video, my camera is recognized by obs, but no image is popping up, it just stays grey and when i close the video capture device settings in obs it stays black... But great tutoria, hanks alot
Hi There and Thank You! New Sub!! Is there anyway that you cover the "Image Orientation" (G HUB Software, Logitech Capture, or...)?? Seems I can only find tutorials & logitech support on "Advanced Settings" in some of the older content available. I noticed you were also "Mirrored" here, as I would like to get to "Normal". I have the C920s. Thanks in advance! :)
You mention using the new NVENC if we have an Nvidia card. In my case, my nVidia card is very dated (GTX 760) - I need to set it to AVC HVENC for the least amount of lag. I can't find anywhere if the "new" NVENC is preferred for such older cards but if I were to use it, I would have to really spend some time adjusting the sync offset. Do you know if the "new" NVENC is just for newer GPUs?
I don’t like how your skin color gets so flatly white and cool on then9w0myour setting up . I like the yiu presenting color better is the difference lighting or the webcam used (brio)
This may have been answered already, but in another video for setting up OBS at 4k and with cam (Logitech cam c922), you had us set up the OBS video tab at 3840x2160, so, now my question is, I want 4k imaging, but the cam resting comfortably at its setting of 1080p. How do I do both?
Hi maybe you can help-Every guitar recording comes out distorted like it's too loud. Makes no difference where the record controls are set. Any thoughts? thanx
Don't see any of those settings when I click on settings in the OBS software I just downloaded. How does this relate to Logitech Capture which I can't get to work properly - picture in picture doesn't work. Do you offer consulting and online access to my PC service etc ? Thanks.
How come when I choose 1920x1080, my camera flashes then turn off ? I've been looking to fix it for quite some time ! It works if I go by Logi Capture but by the camera itself, no possible way ! Any clue sir ? Thank you
Hello Awall. First, let me say I love your tutorials. I'm a volunteer the charity I help asked me to start a RU-vid Channel for its users during the lockdown. I was using the free tools built into Windows 10. Your OBS tutorials made a significant difference. My question is this I have a 1080p camera, but my laptop screen is 1366x768 do I have to set OBS Base Canvas and Output to 1280x720 or can I set both to 1920x1080 even though my screen is 1366x768. Forgot to mention I also do display capture as part of my tutorials. Thank you.
