Visual comparison and Force Feedback Test of wheels: Logitech Formula Force EX Logitech MOMO Racing Force Feedback Wheel Logitech Driving Force GT. Logitech G27 Racing Wheel and Thrustmaster T150 Force Feedback coming soon.
Yes but... No.. 50/50 Theres an higher chance you'll get scammed with an broken wheel, or it getting broken itself fast cause of the bad build and the unrealibility, i ltrly bought 3 of them and all of them have the same problem
I bought a momo a few days ago and I'am very pleased. At the beginning, I was afraid that the angle of rotation would be too small, but it is quite enough.
I got a killer deal on my Logitech Momo and after seeing this comparison I think I've got the product with the features that I like best. Mainly the wheel itself, which has the look and feel of the real thing. Out of the three minutes, Momo has the best paddle shifters and that extra turn on the wheel hasn't come into play for me on my road courses and ovals, it might be a necessity for someone into drift or rally.
can you tell me what is the voltage of the source and the amperage? I'm going to buy a used one but it doesn't have a source, I wanted to know but I can't find it anywhere, I saw one that was 24V and 4A
what program do you use to check ffb? i can't find anything like the one you use. i can only find wheel tester and it only provides ffb test when you press the paddle shifter
How are you turning on and testing the force feedback? I've the red wheel, have it plugged in with the green light on, but can't get any suggestion of force feedback or power with it?! Thanks!
DFGT is the successor of the Momo, so if they're the same price, get the DFGT. The Momo has better paddles, but the 270 degrees (vs 900 for DFGT) can be limiting, especially if you wanna drift.
I was looking at getting a wheel but didnt want to spend a lot of money as the frist wheel I ever bought back in 2003 sucked so I got a used Momo but the one I have is Red Wheel and very well made , for a wheel this old its amazing, only downside is having six buttons nonetheless my track times on A.C iRacing and PG improved by a few secs on tacks I already set records on using a controller , I am so impressed its convinced me to buy a newer wheel , I have a few wheels in mind , the 3 I am considering are G29 Thrustmaster T300 gt or the PXN V10 , those seem to be the main contenders Its just a matter of finding out which of the 3 is t e best
Check out this comparison video between Logitech G27 and Thrustmaster T300. G29 is almost the same as G27 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6giB9J0Dn2g.html&t
F1 2018. 2019 (and other codemasters games: dirt 3,4, rally, rally 2) works great. PC2 (steam version) i had a problem (works in menus but not in race!) untill i uninstall the logitech software. now works fine. maybe need to disable controller in PC2 properties in steam in case you have it enabled assetto corsa (competizione) also great (without drivers, didn't try it with the drivers though). forza 7 works in race but not in menus.
if you can find it for under 20, I'd say go for it. It actually rotates 100° each way, but you can't mod it to rotate more. If you wan't more, you'd be better off getting a DFGT (or any other 900° wheel)
Next to the place where the pedals plug in, there's a port for the power cable. You need to use a power supply (19-24v recommended I think) and then the light should turn green and force feedback/auto-centering will be activated). The wheel will still work without the power supply and just USB but it'll feel like crap.
drivers not necessary for windows 10. FF ex works fine (if not better) without them. in fact in some games, old drivers like these (last updated 10 years ago) may cause problems (i had problems in PC2 until i uninstall them). so if anyone has problems in any game, uninstall the drivers could solve it. only thing drivers do is to adjust the FFB settings in windows but you can do this in game too. anyway, everyone change the default FFB settings per game, so what is the need to adjust it in windows control panel?
