Great review. Ordered my radio panel which is on its way and I hope to install in on top of my Honeywell Alpha yoke (on its way too). Given the current sorry state of delivery services and the global lockdowns, I expect to have them both in a couple of semesters plus another 3 years for AMD CPUs and GPUs to finally become available post their paper launches, so that I can have a new PC build which would coincidentally give Asobo just enough time to fix 5% of the approximate 150k bugs of MSFS. Not sure about those Logitech/Saitek MSRP prices though, it seems you need to multiply everything by a factor of at least 1.4 to get the actual price in the market.

Given the age of all these panels, the price is unbelievably high.

Really enjoyed this. All made sense. Has given me some sort of buying priority, if I go ahead a build a set up.

As a pilot (single engine land, instrument rating) the panels make the flying experience much more realistic versus adjusting controls via the keyboard and mouse. I could never go back.

Hi just came across your review. I am having some issues with setting up my multi & radio panels. I have dabbled with SpadNext but not entirely comfortable although it works fine with most aircraft but not unfortunately in my experience with the throttle control for the MG Honda Hjet (my preferred aircraft) so reverting back for now to the Logitech plugins. Did you setup your Logitech in any special way or leave it to the default settings? Also what is the small screen on top of your devices looks like an iPad?? At age 83 my brain is not so nimble so cannot always follow more experienced simmers advice so going back to basics.

I love the fade-in transitions while the camera is moving you use to show off how the parts fit together at 2:16!

It's worth it I had my panels since 2013 for fsx/pd3 I never flew any default aircraft and the panels don't work with payware aircraft in FSX I was using a freeware program spad,sitek advance drivers,now in pd3 I use spad next payware program with some configuring the panels most of the payware aircraft works like the pmdg,majestic dash q,aerosoft crj ,in. Msfs with the logitech plugin all default aircraft work as far as payware aircraft knowing aerosoft and pmdg I don't expect to work well out of the box.

Hey dude great review. Just wish all the Hotas or Yoke systems were available to buy ! Everything is out of stock no mater where i look lol ! I refuse to play this on a controller so until then, watching videos on RU-vid is the best i can get ;)

Would be great if vr headsets could detect these panels in game like they can with the VR controllers

Hi. Your video was great on saitek panels on fs2020. I can't get the multi panel or switch panel working in fs2020. Ms10 recognizes that the panels are there after you plug in the USB, but flight sim doesn't recognize that they are there. You seem to have them running. Is there a patch I don't know about?. Thanks. Hi 'T of T' , a new subscriber here, an, 'oldie' too, being a 62 year old retired Welsh Paramedic, who has been building his own PC's for the last 30 years! And (This will no doubt 'shock those youngsters')…I also love Gaming too! Unfortunately, time being time, means that Neural impulse transmissions begin to slow with age...Result? Slower Reactions, which means I, personally have to be a bit selective in my choice of what to play to avoid the devastating 'mauling' I always invariably seem to suffer! However, My real love is Flight sim! ( Father was in RAF...been a keen aviation fan since making my first airfix Kit Spitfire in the 60's!) Right, now for my Sim Setup: I had a very similar (Almost identical) set up to yours, all but for one item! I did say farewell to my Saitek Yoke and purchased a Honeybee Alpha Yoke ! I have to be honest...It was, is, 'BRILLIANT'! and that it is probably the best investment I have made for my flight sim setup! Operationally, it is 'light years' ahead of my old Faithful Saitek! I have also purchased the Honeybee Bravo Throttle set which looks absolutely 'Epic' and eagerly await delivery of the 'afore mentioned throttle! Where is it though? Aerosoft, the European distributor for 'Honeybee flight sim products ,replied to my E-mail today, assuring me, Mid December! NB I 'pre purchased both these a long time ago' for the special pre release price but the wait has been ..LONGGGGGGG! So to summarise 'T of T', I Love what I have seen so far and look forward to your future offerings to the 'rapidly growing world' of Flight Sim, But Advice I can offer you from my many years of PC Flight sim, is to try and get the 'Alpha yoke'...It really hits the sweet spot offering more bang for buck or Rather more bang for 'Quid' And, No, I am not in any way linked to honeybee. This is a personal opinion, having used my faithful Saitek yoke for years but the switch to the Alpha yoke, well, it's in a different League! Take care Everyone and stay safe! Nos da! Cymru am byth!

I have a flight yoke and a throttle but what panel should I get? I don't want the radio one but I am not shure which to buy.

Did you get a power adapter for the yoke? I got the Yoke, multifunction panel and the switch panel. I plugged them into the usb hub that is built onto the yoke but got the message not enough power.

I have been running my MSFS without any issue, but now I have installed the logitech plugin and I got a disturbing lag... can u please help me?

I just bought the Multi and Switch panels used for about €60 for both. I think that was a bargain! I've set them up with the Spad Next software which worked much better than the original Logitech plugin (at least for me). Allows me to download profiles for different aircraft, even though the default profile in Spad Next works great with most planes - even third party ones. Very happy with them so far!

Thank you, I'll be looking into this system. I can see why it would be a bit "plasticy" If it were all highest quality it would be 1000's of bucks, so you'd be into a professional sim price range. I believe the "boeing" yoke came out recently and I'll check to see if you did a review of that. tyvm

Hi mate, I have the multi panel and the light switch panel but I don’t use them because I like you set up spare tablets for my displays and as soon as I tab out a window to my tablet it cripples my sim and I lose atleast half my fps, so they just sit on my desk and have done for months, I’ve contacted asobo and msfs support on Twitter several times and never had a reply :( I don’t think they’ll ever be a fix for it thus rendering mine, and I guess a lot of other simmers multiple panels useless :( Gutted as I’d love to use them :(

How do you set your camera in MSFS? Going forward makes it unnatural, and going up to hide the whole deck makes your approaches awkward and unprecise. Actually, the only solution I see is to simulate a screen that's bigger than yours and make only the top half appear. Or just leave the deck visible and cover it with your hardware instruments.

Do you know why my radio and autopilot module don't start automatically on computer startup? I have to click the Logitech software each time, I attempted putting a shortcut in the startup folder, it doesn't have any errors but doesn't start them up either. Once I click the software at anytime after windows starts it's fine, also I do have it run as administrator clicked in the shortcut.... Thanks for any tips.

I have a silly question about the radio panel, I want to buy this for my brother who loves flight sims but im not entirely educated with all the pilot terms, so would this product work in the way where if atc says to change to a certain frequency you can change to that frequency via this product and it would change in game aswell?

So everything works with this on MSFS 2020 except for one thing. The elevator trim starts out at 13%, and only moves a couple of degrees either direction no matter how long you turn the trim knob, and then automatically resets itself to 13%. Is there a fix for this?

Just received the Radio panel. Very solid and good quality, however it does not work with any airliners; B787, A320, nor the Fly By Wire A320. Even with the latest drivers. Doesn't even light up in the A320 starting cold and dark. Works partially when you spawn on the runway, but only the XPDR works.

i have all 3 panels on my set up plus a FIP, all work perfect in fs2020.... except on the airliners where no matter what input you pt in, the plane just does what it wants

I bought a Multi-Panel shortly after MSFS saw the light. It was replaced by the seller cause it didn't work. The "new" one doesn´t either (connected directly to the PC). No matter software and plugins it doesn't show numbers and just once could blindly (trough the instruments in the aircraft) manage the autopilot. If any one knows how to make it work kindly respond. THKS

If you have the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo throttle quadrant , don`t bother with the Logitech switch panel , just get the radio panel and the multi-panel, as there is plenty switches on the honeycomb Alpha/Bravo

My multi panel worked fine until the update using the Saitek driver.

It about time the Logitech panels was backlit. No real problem to do in manufacturing and I cannot understand why these panels although fulfilling basic requirement and are affordable but fall short by not going the whole hog such as simple backlighting.

The radio panel is poorly made in my opinion. In MSFS2020, 90% of time, the frequency is given in six digits... Is there a way around that?

I checked out this video because I am thinking of purchasing the Logitech panels. As others noticed, Tao is using an iPad with a glass panel app, looks neat! He mentioned he would do a follow up video, but alas, no. I have been hunting around for this app, but cannot find it, though have found something close. It's $22.99 (that may be US dollars) on the Apple App Store. There is another similar one on the Android store, though not sure if it's the same as the one in the video. Even though others asked about, Tao hasn't answered. I might subscribe if he reads this and helps out ;-)

In my opinion, price is due to the fact this is quite a niche marcket and they wont sell million of these.

I have a Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant, so I am all set for switches and multi-panel features (the Brave is great!), but the radio panel looks really intriguing.

These and the really outdated FIP panels are a really expensive way to achieve control outside of the virtual cockpit. They are usual Saitek plastic and not at all good value at full price. It’s certainly much cheaper to build something of your own. There are many better options including building your own, other brands or the most versatile of all an external cockpit for all your aircraft using Air Manager and a knobster. Almost anything is better than these in 2023. Don’t waste your money and demand better.

The panels are "okish" but the yoke is a complete joke compared to the competitors. I can't recommend the logitech yoke so if you go with the competitors and add the panels you often end up with multiple switches that do the same. It's only possible to avoid this with the Saitek Pro Flight Cessna (i have no idea why Logitech discontinued it) which is a good investment but only available used or super expensive Yokes like the Yoko from Virtual Fly. The best "bang for the buck" in my opinion are the Honeycomb Yoke and Throttle but extended with Logitech Panels you end up with the said problem of "same option on two switches"
