Are you kidding me? This is amazing considering most mice these days. And honestly for me I don’t care how complicated they are to take apart, I just wish they didn’t hide the screws under skates when they don’t need too. It’s just for aesthetics, having easy access screws would be so nice
Had to play the video back, thought my neighbour's dog had gotten out of the house for a sec 😅 good video though, helped a bunch with getting it open to clean some contacts in a non-destructive manner
It was pretty easy big dawg thanks for the help spilled some Dr P on my mouse and left click was all sticky and getting stuck felt like it was just stuck down and this helped a lot thanks
Can't believe logitech g203 just downgrade from g203 prodigy, just only improve rgb from predecessor, n i mean who cares about rgb, why only improve rgb and downgrade sensor, from mercury sensor to unknown brand sensor
wanted to clean my scrollwheel since it appears to be rather stuck ._. Bit sad to see the skates need to come off in order to find the screws, but I guess I'm just going to have to find a way heh. The video helped easing my nerves, so thank you for posting ^-^
@@IEatAncientArtifacts There is none of them in my country i'm afraid. However, i scratched the pads surface very hard and made it clean completely of its original glue. Then, i just sticked the pads with a strong one. The important part is to make all 4 pads the same level so that mouse don't damage your mousepad afterwards. I just wanted to write that down for people who is afraid to do so. Just be gentle and it'll be ok.
Ketimbang G703, bagusan pcbnya, rapi dan gak ringkih, terlihat lebih kokoh, harusnya logitech mengutamakan menggunakan songket ketimbang solder langsung untuk part sering rusak
It's weird that no video mentions the type of screw or the screw driver. The screw is 0.4mm #1 Phillips, so on my precision screw kit: I am using size PH1.
Dust will find its way inside regardless, other than making your scroll wheel stiff up a bit (which this tutorial is great for, because you can now clean it more easily) it should not hurt your mouse ^-^
Question how can I tell if I broke the scroll wheel button? It only works when I press on it hard, but nothing sounds loose aka nothing jiggles while a shake it. The darn rage while gaming is real lol. I bought a new one today this time I won't break it.
i hate this mouse so bad... no way i have these tools to clean it... I threw it straight in the trash can ofc, cut off the wire. the I have bought myself a much much more cheap mouse from a nobody-knows-it company. i'd rather buy a mouse every 6 months with a small price rather than buying a more expensive one.
