Best mic test of this headset I've heard yet. Currently $30 on Amazon US, which is a steal. Thanks for the work you put in & sharing your findings with us!
I had this headset. What made me pick this is due to its weight and bluetooth connectivity on cellphones. I have a separate jogging/workout headset but I'm using this as an alternative since it covers my ears and feels like I'm out focused like a horse on a straight road which is dangerous by the way with passing trucks/cars lol! Nice review!
Nice, something I really like about this headset is it doesn't offer any digital noise cancelation, nor physical noise cancelation. Meaning I can still hear outside of my headphones if they're not too loud. kinda like it when working out at gym or gaming when my daughter is walking around the room
thanks for the review, I loved the look of these headphones but I wanted to make sure they were good quality and you covered all the things I was wondering
Have watched several reviews this morning and this is the one that convinced me to buy. Needed something comfortable and versatile (gaming, zoom calls, music and youtube) since these will live on my head 12+ hours most days. Currently £39.99 on Amazon UK. Thanks for the great review 👍
Honestly since it´s wireless it´s totally okay that the wired headset mic sounds better. Also for people with shorter hair than you it could sound different because the microphone can pick up more because the hair isn´t blocking it. I like it!
that's a great way to compare mic sounds between different headset. the mic quality may not be the best, but still great compared to its cheaper knockoff that was released later. And considering its very comfortable for a long time wear and nothing in front of your mouth.
The mic is great. I don't understand what everyone wants. His voice came out clearly and perfectly understandable. You people expect 200 dollar standalone mic quality from a headset. Come on....
Nice review Eric! I work remotly and the mic quality its kinda important to me... I have calls all day long and was planning to buy a headset wireless.... I have to say that I'm not sure if this guy has the quality that I was expecting...anyways, thanks for the review!
hey thank! yeah if you personally want to have really good mic quality, then yeah you can def get better ones. but if you like everything else about this headset, i think it's definitely passable. and your employer or whoever honestly wouldn't care, like theyre not that bad. when i start my next remote position in Aug I will be using this headset!
i currently use razer krakens,, like the very basic ones that were popular a few years back,, but i bought these looking for a lighter, more comfortable headphone more practical for someone like me that plays games on my computer a lot but mainly watches yt or netflix and likes to be able to walk around freely, wirelessly and im so excited to get them in the mail
hey btw y'all, because I wanted the entire video to demonstrate the different mic qualities none of the recordings are edited (so they're a little quiet) please wear headphones or speakers - especially during the microphone comparison :)
Damn, I was looking for a basic wireless headset, basic enough to participate in meetings with a decent microphone, I thought I had found it when I saw the g435 for the first time, but this microphone test just saved me from buying it
I only have one question, it's my principal concern about headsets, Whey you use the mic, is there an lowered audio quality? Bc it happens almost all the time: It's sounds good when it's not in "comunication" mode (idk is there a name for it) but when use the mic.. it drops the quality to garbage. I'm currently seeking one that doesn't do that. (English is not my primary language, it's my 3rd so it's not perfect, sorry about that)
the way I understand it, every bluetooth headset will do this because bluetooth doesn't have enough bandwidth to both send and receive high quality audio at the same time. It can only do one at a time well, not both.
Hi! Is it uncomfortable with the glasses? I'm thinking about getting them but headsets are usually uncomfortable for me bc I wear glasses and I can't try them on cuz I'm getting them shipped from another state... Also great mic testing! Thanks
hey sorry, *Logitech H390* i picked mine up at walmart / www.walmart.com/ip/Logitech-H390-Wired-Headset-Stereo-Headphones-with-Noise-Cancelling-Microphone-USB-In-Line-Controls-PC-Mac-Laptop-Black/43841325?athbdg=L1600 and you can also get it here on amazon / www.amazon.com/Logitech-Headset-H390-Noise-Cancelling/dp/B000UXZQ42?ref_=ast_sto_dp
It'll beep at you three times over a span of probably 1 hour when it's "battery low". And when using Bluetooth, your phone or computer can show the percentage!
the mic on the head set sound nicer than the original one he is using because the first one sound so bad and static like i much rather listen to the g435 mic than that one
Nah, mic sounds like you’re underwater bro. Thought it was just a faulty one I got, got an exchange & the mic was the same so I said maybe it’s the store, so then I got one from Amazon & I’m convinced their microphone quality is absolutely horrible!
in this video i compare it with another headset what do you think? also im in a room with much more carpet ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZkEEaLg1W1U.html
Sorry I'm late but I think the reasoning for that is: 1. It's Bluetooth/wireless (wired mic ALWAYS sound better than wireless mic) 2. It's not close the mouth 3. The headset is like 59 usd (at least in my country it's 59 usd )
i agree, it is good. it gets a pass for gamers. but if youre streaming often or using it for work .it would be a decent idea to try to get an additional mic to use instead
@@EMDNT ya . After extensive use of g435, I found out it doesn't work well with audacity or audio softwares it is just trash for it. But during zoom calls and games it works well. I hope it had the physical mic mouth piece. Because I don't get much clarity on calls. And I came to know double tapping the mute button activates ambient mode in this headphone which I didn't know it had. So that is a good feature to have.
Nowadays I actually use this headset for the comfort convenience, battery life and speaker quality. But I use an external mic from NJSJ. If you can get it when it's discounted, I definitely think it's worth getting at some point. But yeah if you're looking for ONE budget wireless total solution, probably better to get one that has some sort of boom microphone arm.

@@EMDNT To piggyback on this topic, how good is Discord at blocking the surrounding noise from your room? It seemed like the boomless mic picked up your keyboard noises as loud as your talking voice which might become an issue personally because I use voice to activate. My local electronics store just put these at 25€ a piece so honestly I might get them anyways and then get an individual proper mic later on if it becomes an issue. Really liked your review, thanks!
