Having scroll wheel issue, swapped the encoder didn’t work. Then I bought a new motherboard for it to work for a day. Just for it the scroll wheel to start bugging again. Do you think it’s the ribbon at this point?
Yo so my scroll wheel works whenever it feels like it. I've cleaned it to work for like a day and stop working cmepletely to recently deciding it wants to work again so here i am again. Any ideas on why its tripping so hard?
i think your encoder got bad. If it was for dust it would have been worked fine after the cleaning. You have to change the encoder. Lucky for you the circuit board in available on ali express.it comes with the encoder and also both switches
these boards doesn't matter when its comes to latency. This board is connected to the main board with ribbon cable so the click signal will be instant. its the main board what sends the signal to the dongle where latency happens. you can buy the board with TTC gold switch and scroll encoder,you will find it on ali express.
Hi! My scroll wheel was bad at scrolling, so I used wd40 to fix my it without disassemble. It fixes it, but it stops clicking. Mechanically it clicks but pc doesn't respond to click. What can you suggest? Can I disassemble and fix it somehow? Thanks
i thing the wd40 got inside of the scroll wheel button that's why its not responding. I suggest you to wait a little until it dried out on its own but if you still have the problem you can disassemble it and clean it. I have a video on my channel how to clean inside the scroll wheel button.
I managed to solve the issue of the scroll wheel, but when I put together the mouse I ended up with a scratchy feeling when moving the mouse, what do you recommend to solve this issue?
@@Repairclinic1 I think it has to do with the skate of the mouse got damaged during the procedure. I will probably have to buy new ones, but at least I solve the scrollwheel problem
if you wanna play games like cs2,valo PTFE skates are best for you it'll give you more control over aim. Or you can also get ice skates. But don't get glass skates you won't get much control over aim cause it's too smooth.
i followed every step the batteri cable was hard to pull so i kept it there to not cause any issues and it worked perfectly for me use any tipe of cleaner i used a spray cable cleaner and it works fine now thx alot u gained a sub
@@Repairclinic1 the black one, but got it working again now after several tries cause it just wasnt able to hold very well, And i couldnt repin it cause i couldnt get out the old pin with ste rest of the cable stuck in it
